About NERIST Nirjuli
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh was founded in 1984. Situated in Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, NERIST is a deemed-to-be university that is autonomous, fully sponsored, and managed by the Government of India's Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD). NERIST offers four levels of programmes that include diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.
The NERIST Nirjuli courses include Diploma, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D The candidates should meet the NERIST eligibility criteria for the desired course. Before applying for admissions to NERIST, the candidate should appear for the relevant entrance examination such as NEE /MAT/GATE/PET/CAT.
Admissions to NERIST will be based on the entrance examination scores. NERIST has a placement cell that handles all the placement activities of the students. As per the official website of NERIST, a total of 29 companies have visited NERIST campus for 2023-2024 placements till date and a total of 148 offers have been received.
NERIST Arunachal Pradesh also offers various infrastructural facilities on campus. NERIST Arunachal Pradesh provides for separate accommodation, a library, an auditorium, a medical/hospital, and many other facilities. NERIST also offers scholarships for students to needy and meritorious students.

NERIST Nirjuli Scholarship
Various NERIST Nirjuli scholarships are made available to the students through support from the government. Students are highly encouraged to apply for various state and central government scholarships for receiving financial support while they are pursuing their desired course study. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Nirjuli scholarships may not be applicable to all and many students may not be eligible to apply for it since certain scholarships are provided only to backward categories, while some are given based on merit to outstanding performers. Students meeting the eligibility criteria are assisted to apply for NERIST scholarships.

Poor don't like it toilets are dirty and are not maintained campus do not have proper dustbins students always throw the wrappers in the campus making it dirty hate the site of wrappers all around. Must look into it.

College Infrastructure
As the institute is very old, the infrastructure is very old: small classrooms, a lack of technology, no smart classes, no advanced labs, old labs with sufficient technician, lack of types of equipment, etc. But in this regard, new buildings are being constructed and slowly, things are getting better.
