NERIST Nirjuli Facilities

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science And Technology Nirjuli offers well-structured and well-designed facilities for students, staff and faculty on campus. Major infrastructural facilities at NERIST include separate girls’ hostels and a boys’ hostels, a central library as well as numerous departmental libraries which have a good collection of books, magazines, journals and so on. NERIST also has an auditorium on the university campus to conduct professional and cultural events for students.

The NERIST facilities include a good IT infrastructure and medical/ hospitals which serve the students and employees on campus. The medical/ hospital facility assists the doctor in case of an emergency, Bank/ATM and many other facilities are also available on NERIST campus. 

  • Boys Hostel

    The NERIST facilities provide for 8 separate hostels for boys. The hostels are within walking distance of the academic blocks. The NERIST hostel complex has two ATMs and a couple of mini-shops; an indoor stadium, a lawn tennis court, a basketball court and outdoor badminton courts. The hostels have separate messes providing healthy food to the residents at a reasonable rate as well filtered water. NERIST hostels also have uninterrupted power supply ensured by a standby generator.

  • Girls Hostel

    The institute offers 2 separate girls hostels on campus. The NERIST hostels for girls are safely located inside the residential complex of the faculty members and officers. All the NERIST hostels are within walking distance of the academic blocks. The girls' hostels have an outdoor badminton court, a basketball court, and a small shop. The girls’ hostels have separate messes providing healthy food to the residents at a reasonable rate.

  • Library

    The NERIST facilities include a Central library and departmental libraries supporting the teaching, learning, research, and extension programme throughout the academic year. NERIST Central Library as well as the Departmental Libraries provide a large collection of books, journals, novels, and much more from across the world. Students can spend time doing reference or research work in the library and enhance their understanding and knowledge.

  • Auditorium

    The auditorium is the venue for cultural activities, departmental functions, technical fests, and performing arts. The auditorium contains seats up to 500 accommodations, and it is well furnished with LCD projectors and soundproof audio-video facilities. The auditorium is often used by schools within the campus for their annual functions.

  • Medical/Hospital

    NERIST Nirjuli facilities provide for a Medical Health Unit which has around six beds in the hospital with a 24-hour emergency ward as well as other medical facilities and laboratories. It also provides a 24/7 emergency ambulance in case of emergencies. NERIST Nirjuli Medical Health Unit is staffed by two regular medical officers, one contract medical officer, and one pharmacist, a nurse, an ANM, dresser, and a lab technician.

  • I.T Infrastructure

    The ET cell mainly manages and maintains the Internet Connectivity to the Institute, Local Area Network (LAN), Wi-Fi LAN, Server Firm, and different Services. It was established as a project sponsored by the MHRD, GOI, with an objective to increase the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process with the help of modern audio-visual equipment and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

  • Banks/ATMs

    To enable the students to have easy transactions, there is an SBI Bank on campus. NERIST campus also has multiple ATMs so that students can access them whenever they need.

  • Gym

    NERIST also has a gym for the students that is located near the playground close to the NERIST hostel for boys. 

  • Guest Room/Waiting Room

    NERIST guest house is equipped with all modern facilities and amenities. There are 14 newly furnished air-conditioned rooms and suites which provide all daily necessities. NERIST guest houses have professional cooks who serve a range of Indian food from casual, all day eateries to formal, fine dining. The guest houses at NERIST also have a meeting cum drawing room which can be used for multiple purposes. There are 8 rooms available at the rate of Rs. 2000 per day and 6 suites available at the rate of Rs. 4,000 per day excluding dining costs.

Very nice and outstanding collage best for students with hygienic campus environment and best canteen service with best quality and clean rooms and digital teaching with smart boards and large open fields for sports and extra curricular activities

The infrastructure is pretty nice .. the college has the big outlets and big space. So the infrastructure is good and decent. You guys Cann bare with that . Can be more enthusiastic. The infrastructure can be let go as it can be interesting to spend your time.. like it's worth it to be here and seem to be pretty nice ... In a college infrastructure have to look great.

Campus life was the highlight of my experience.

College Infrastructure

The labs had adequate equipments but the college infrastructure was not up to the mark. The new buildings that came up after I graduated probably are kuch better than the older ones we had back in the day.

NERIST that means North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Cona,Andhra pradesh.had big campus with 10hostels .8 for boys and 2for girls.One each for PG hostels .Every hostel has its regular fecility and have a good enviornment for study and education.Yhe wifi fecility is available for 6pm to 6AM only.
