Hi there,
Hope you are doing fine.
The specific number of seats available in each category for the Mathematics department at NERIST (North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology) through the NEE-3 (NERIST Entrance Examination) may vary each year based on several factors including the changes in the policy and demand, the number of seats available and the number of applicants.
To get accurate and detailed information about seat distribution by category (such as General, OBC, SC, ST, and others) it is best to refer to the official NERIST admission brochure for the current academic year or visit their official website.
You can also contact the NERIST admissions office directly for the most recent and precise details regarding seat allocation. This will ensure that you receive the most reliable information relevant to the specific year and category you are interested in.
Hope this resolves your query.

M. Tech Eligibility
Hope it helps you !!
Thanking you
Hi, it is recommended that you first choose your branch. Looking at the pattern and future opportunities in both the branches there is minimal difference between them. IT is all software based and CSE is Software, Hardware and OS core based. Coming to colleges. NEHU has larger space and better infrastructure. Also NIRF ranking is around 82. So, NEHU is better. You can compare your colleges as well as the branches on the link given below. Hope this helps.
Hi dear,
The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is led by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science And Technology (NERIST) for admissions to different B.Tech programs, presented by NERIST. The placement test is led at various focuses in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
NERIST leads the test in three distinct levels-NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III for various modules for example Base (Certificate), Diploma and Degree modules of Technology Stream and 4 years Degree in Forestry.
Confirmation in NERIST is done on merit premise according to the Institute guidelines under different reservation classes. Every one of the significant subtleties identified with the test is delivered on the authority site of NERIST for example http://www.neeonline.ac.in.
Dear candidate NERIST is overall a renowned institution teaching Computer Science Engineering curriculum quite nicely. But since it's a very old Institute some of the facilities have declined in its qualities. But coming to North Eastern Hills University, it has developed a lot in recent years. Coming to sophisticated infrastructure, their huge book collection in the library, placements with average salary package of 3-5 LPA offered by IT companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys and more companies are yet to come in future.

Dear aspirant,
If you would like to take my opinion I would recommend you to choose jadavpur for metallurgy but note this if you don't have a liking for coding only then go for this option.
If you want to go for the non core field I will suggest you to go for cse branch in nerist. Lastly for iiest shibpur , mining was considered to be the one of the best of iiest but the placements from the current few years is not good so I would ask you to go with cse or metallurgy.
Hey there
As I have searched Tezpur University is a better choice then the latter one university. Mentioned below are the details of Tezpur University:
Very nice and outstanding collage best for students with hygienic campus environment and best canteen service with best quality and clean rooms and digital teaching with smart boards and large open fields for sports and extra curricular activities
The infrastructure is pretty nice .. the college has the big outlets and big space. So the infrastructure is good and decent. You guys Cann bare with that . Can be more enthusiastic. The infrastructure can be let go as it can be interesting to spend your time.. like it's worth it to be here and seem to be pretty nice ... In a college infrastructure have to look great.
The labs had adequate equipments but the college infrastructure was not up to the mark. The new buildings that came up after I graduated probably are kuch better than the older ones we had back in the day.
