It was excellent, with all the good facilities, laboratories, and IT needs. All the needs were catered on time. The administration regularly updates all the facilities as and when needed, as per the reviews by students.
The curriculum was well maintained and updated as per the UGC and regulations. It was also revised as per the market needs, and hence a good amount of knowledge was gained from the syllabus made by the department.
The placement assistance was given only if required since most of the students opted for a master's or Ph.D. ahead. The institute provided assistance in publishing a lot of research articles under the mentors.
College have an excellent infrastructure and also very advanced lab for individual branch. College classroom has all facilities which will needed to students like all classroom are air-conditioning and wifi.
Main reason for studying in PDEU is they have great faculties. All facilities are very educated and experienced. Also they have very well planed curriculum. With study they have so many events like culture, sports, Tech festival etc.
According to data every year around 80% students get their campus placement. Average placement is around 7 - 8 lake per annum in Management and 3-4 lake in b.tech. Highest offer around 19 lake per annum
Per year fees for college is 2.26 lake.
College campus was amazing. In campus you can get all needed things. Staff and security also available 24/7
Its one of top 10 college in Gujarat
Infrastructure of PDEU is really good. They have all the necessary facilities and equipment. Classrooms has smart boards, WiFi, AC and are all used and well maintained. And absolutely the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
Quality of teaching is average. No doubt professors will teach the whole syllabus but you must have to put your input. And PDEU is doing great in extra curriculum activities. And because of the active participation of both students as well as college , the curriculum is updated and this makes you job-ready.
I'm in a civil department and I've seen the increments in packages as well as placement. Quality of placement is good. Last year's highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. And average package is about 5-6 LPA.
PDEU is one of the most expensive university in Gujarat. My course cost per year is ₹ 2,50,000. If we keep in mind the facilities provided by the PDEU, then the money is worth but if you look at the academic point of view then the money's so high.
Campus life of PDEU is amazing. PDEU is more in the extra curriculum activities. And was conducted on the ground. And yes it is absolutely safe. It handle emergencies easily. And student teachers bond is also good.
PDEU has one of the best infrastructure in Gujarat in my opinion. It has classrooms with well equipped AC's, Smart Board and are really spacious. It also has all the required facilities like laboratories, libraries, sports grounds. The WiFi facility is available throughout the campus.
I am currently pursuing Electrical Engineering. The design of course structure is good but the quality of teaching in not upto the mark in some subjects.TheProfessors are not maintaining a constant pace through the semester and at end completion of syllabus is important than anything else so they skip some important topics at end.
The quality of placement is good here though I haven't experienced it myself as I am in 3rd year. There are several reputed organizations that are top recruiters in PDEU. The highest salary package is mostly grabbed by the students of petroleum engineering.
The course cost per year is nearly Rs2,40,000/-. It's really the one of the most expensive colleges of Gujarat. In order to make full use of facilities provided in the campus it solely depends upon the student how much he or she can cope up with.
The campus life is here great without any doubt. There are several competitions, celebration of different festivals, and many more to entertain you to the fullest.
The infrastructure of PDEU is very good, with great hostels, a good mess with decent food, well equipped classrooms, and facilities for extra-curricular activities, like sports grounds, music jamming room and performing arts room. The campus is very green and full of nice spots to hang out, study and relax with your friends. There are also eateries as well as two cafes on campus, and there is a stationery as well as medical shop.
The liberal arts course is holistic and well structured, with interesting topics from across various fields. However, those who have a very targeted mindset on what they want to do in the future, may find many of the subjects taught redundant. The liberal arts course is great for those still exploring. The faculty are well qualified, but as it goes with almost every institution - some are absolutely wonderful and the experience has not been very great with some.
As I am still doing my graduation and have not experienced placements first-hand, I may not be able to give a perfect picture of the quality and quantity of the placements. There are, however, countless internship opportunities throughout the course that help one gain experience as well as build contacts for the future.
The tuition for SLS costs about Rs. 1 lac per semester with around Rs. 1,20,000 for the hostel and mess facilities for the year. The college experience for me has been worth it, due to the facilities and exposure one gets from SLS. Other liberal studies courses are a lot more expensive and PDEU is very reasonable in comparison.
The campus life is absolutely wonderful. The energy is always great at campus. You never feel alone as there is always a friendly face around. There are 30+ student run clubs on various topics like finance, music, theater, robotics and much more. Everyone can find something of their interest here, and there is some or the other activity or event on campus every other day. The people are mostly kind and very accepting. Campus is a little away from the city, but transportation is easily available.
The college infrastructure is amazing, it's everything a student expects ! Modern, clean, hygienic and huge. Hostels are also amazing. Rooms have a nice open space and has proper cleaning system.......
Faculties are amazing courses are what we want. Assignments are based on practical knowledge... So it covers theoritical as well as practical aspects of the subjects. So overall covers everything......
No placements for SLS students i.e school of liberal studies.,.....Faculties are amazing courses are what we want. Assignments are based on practical knowledge... So it covers theoritical as well as practical aspects of the subjects. So overall covers everything......
It's worth it.The college infrastructure is amazing, it's everything a student expects ! Modern, clean, hygienic and huge. Hostels are also amazing. Rooms have a nice open space and has proper cleaning system.......

PDPU has a better campus than most of the colleges in Gujarat. It comprises of AC classroom, equipped Labs, mess, playgrounds and cafeteria. The library is also very good in terms of its infrastructure.
In my opinion, academics fairly depends on how much a student can grasp. A lot of webinars and activities are arranged on a routine basis but very few students can take it's an advantage because of hectic exams schedule and extracurriculars going on in college.
I haven't experienced any placement procedure myself as I am still in my second year. I have heard that placements are average but you can get good opportunities off-campus if your skills are up to mark.
Well, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) has best infrastructure in Gujarat in my sight. Even it ranked 1st in 2016 for infrastructure by NIRF. Campus is large consists of main four building each occupied for different programs. Auditorium is great where all major and minor events are taken place. Apart from it , there are ground for every sport even it has good area for skating. Hostel facilities are plenty enough. PDEU takes great care of plantation. Campus is really huge. Food was good
I did B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering. During my curriculum, I notice they has very unique way of teaching. Courses are collaborated with International University at my time. Also they offer exchange program for 1 semester to some students. Teaching were direct and was mostly focused on Industrial aspects. They conduct their own exams as university is Autonomous. Also research you do are great under guidance. On other hand, they provides industrial internships which are good for experience.
The major attraction of University was placement and value. They do great job in placing students and tries to achieve 100%. The average salary was 8 lakh for petroleum and 4.5 for others when I took the admission. They also conduct placement training class to ease the placement. Large names are there to hire you so the competition gets hard. Faculties are friendly enough that they guide the students for their career choice. However it is not easy to get place into your desire company.
All courses are very expensive. They has highest fees in Gujarat. Here my suggestion, if you are only focus on studies it cannot be a good deal until you go for special courses they offer like Petroleum. They give plenty of opportunities to go out , explore all things , every events to make it worth. Research programs are also good they provide good amount of fund to pull out good research. Events are best so don't forget to go there.
Campus life of PDEU is awesome. Mostly you will find Gujarati people more. Living and experiencing the hostel life is great. There are lot of students clubs and activities ,almost for everything. Also, it is surrounded by various other campus so there is no limit of engaging with students. Facilities for groceries and outgoing are plenty though it is in rural area. There are shops for groceries and stationary, even a bank inside the campus.
The infrastructure of the college is great. The college classroom is well maintained and the quality of chairs and benches are also pretty decent. The classrooms are equipped with Projectors and also the management provides mics to the teacher in case if the strength Is higher.
I am studying Computer Engineering. The quality is not very good, they will teach you basic stuff and it is not a very hands-on approach which is required in the field of Computer Enginerring. The curriculum is well thought of but again the level of teaching is not up to the mark in some subjects. Yeah, the syllabus makes for job-ready as there is the inclusion of DS/ALgo, DBMS, OOPS and OS which are generally asked during the interviews.
The placement is not up to the level in terms of the fees and considering the reputation of the college. Very few reputed companies visit PDPU for placements in the field of Computer Engineering. There are many local companies (From Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar) that provide placement on the campus.
The fees are around 240000Rs per year which is pretty high as compared to all other colleges in Gujarat. The PDPU provides freedom to students and allows them to various choices and opportunity in various extracurricular activities. Also, the campus life is very good and it provides all the facility for the student and also has excellent labs in various fields of learning. But in terms of placement, it is not value for money.
The campus life is awesome, there are many activities organized in the college that are fun to attend and engaging. Activities are organized by various clubs. The teacher support is excellent will help you out with most of your problems. The location of the college is a perfect place, it is close to the main city and there is also no disturbing sides around the college, covered around a very green area.
Overall the college experience is nice, a little costly in my opinion and teaching and placement in companies is not according to the price you pay. But college provides many extra circular activities and clubs and also incubation if you have any startup idea, so in that department, this is the better college as compared to others.
All sorts of facilities are available. Whether you are a bookworm or a sport enthusiast, various resources are at your disposal. The labs also have adequate equipment. The classrooms are also perfect. Fests and events are regularly held for rejuvenating students. The mess food is hygenic and better than other colleges :p
The faculties are simply great. They are good in knowledge and also helpful and friendly. Truth: Whenever there's a rise of good faculties in other colleges, PDPU buys them. As compared to GTU, curriculum is more better and future ready.
ICT and CS branches started recently(2016). Therefore the placements average at 5 lpa. Many students also prepare for Masters abroad and some for GATE. Hence the placements are average, but if you are able to make a good profile, you can easily bag any job you want.
Fees is 2,16,000rs per year. And if you include mess and hostel, it becomes around 3,50,000rs. That means it's the costliest college in Gujarat. But if one is capable, the money is worth. Just constantly remind yourself to utilise the money you've invested.
This is the best part about PDPU. Students can join or create any new clubs they want. This is a great way to interact with people as well as to learn new things. The fests are also great.
Hi
hope you doing well
Getting admission to Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU, formerly PDPU) for Computer Science with your 84.6 percentile in JEE Mains may be challenging but not impossible, depending on the specific round of counseling and your category.
In recent years, the cutoff for Computer Engineering (CSE) at PDEU has typically been competitive, with earlier closing ranks around 1400-5000 in the general category. However, lower cutoff ranks are sometimes observed in subsequent counseling rounds, and students with ranks close to yours have occasionally secured seats through sliding or spot rounds.
Since PDEU also offers admissions through state quotas and reserved seats for categories, you might have a better chance depending on your category and seat availability in later rounds. I recommend keeping track of the official counseling updates and considering other branches or closely related programs if necessary.

Hello,
The first thing to note is that CHARUSAT is exceptional in teaching CSE. PDPU is a new player in the CSE field and focuses in the Petroleum and Mechanical disciplines.
Second, PDPU's undergraduate programme is significantly more costly than CHARUSAT's. Although it provides superior on-campus housing, living at CHARUSAT will give you an unparalleled opportunity to experience college life while studying.
Additionally, and this is ultimately what counts, CHARUSAT provides 100% placement in the CE and IT fields. Because CHARUSAT has earned an accreditation grade of "A" from NAAC, it will be a better location to study if you intend to continue your education overseas. In comparison to other colleges that compete with CHARUSAT, foreign universities will view CHARUSAT as a superior institution.
So, CHARUSAT CSE > PDPU CSE
Good Luck!!
