Sarala Birla University in Ranchi offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and conducive learning environment for its students. Hostel subscription to two newspapers as well as individual newspaper subscriptions on request (additional charges applicable).

A resident Doctor and Nurses along with an Ambulance are available on the University premises itself. In case any student requires medical attention, he/she must immediately inform the caretaker/ warden. The student will be given due attention in the form of proper medical care and taken to the hospital if required. The caretaker will inform the Warden who will inform the parents.
The library is part of a university setup. Therefore, it exists to serve the objectives of its parent organization. Every library program must support the university's total program. The University Library should aim to advance the functions of that university. SBU library is spacious and adequately stocked, with the requisite number of references and textbooks. Students and faculties are given access to many e-books/courses from Pearson, NPTEL, etc. The Library Card will be issued to the student at the beginning of the student’s academic year at the University, subject to the rules and regulations of the Library. The Card shall have to be presented at the Library counter at the time of drawing or returning books, etc. This card shall be surrendered at the time of obtaining a clearance certificate on leaving the University. The library card will be valid up to the date mentioned on it. A member should get the card renewed before it expires if he/she requires it. The Card, as well as the Ticket, will be the responsibility of the Cardholder. In the case of misplacement/ loss of the card, it should be immediately reported in writing to the librarian. Issue of the duplicate card may be considered in case of loss on payment of the required amount, but cannot be claimed as a right. The cardholder will be held responsible for books found outstanding in the original Card/Ticket even after a duplicate has been issued. The books borrowed on the Card/Ticket are not transferable. All the members (students) have the privilege to draw only two books at a time from the general stock. The duration of the loan will be two weeks only. Library material borrowed by any member is subject to recall if needed by the library.
The University has a well-established Cafeteria located on the campus providing a wide range of foods to the students and staff. The food offered by the Cafeteria is hygienic and it helps the students and staff members of the university to fulfill their need for the food of their choice. The canteen is the most important place on campus for many students! Here, you can have a good, reasonable meal or a quick snack, study together, or just take a break. Provision of the meal is provided for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Once you have decided which meal to have, you must pay for your meal and have it on a daily basis per meal or if you pay monthly, the exact amount will be debited automatically. At the buffet or free-flow area, various dishes are offered: salad, vegetables, non-veg, etc. The menus are available at lunchtime. During the regular workdays of the university, (other than vacations and weekends) you can eat in the cafeteria.
Safety and added comfort, both are prime concerns of Sarala Birla University. To bestow with the same, the fleet of University buses provides a pick and drop facility to students coming from within a radial distance of 100 km. The buses are modern to give a comfortable traveling experience. The buses run on specific routes covering more than 60% of the city besides connecting to the prime locations of the city. The bus timings are synchronized with the schedule of the University.
The University has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

workshops are amazing learning environments that provide students with “real-life” opportunities to implement theoretical knowledge. The goal is to expose students to hands-on experiences and open-ended, real-world engineering projects, as well as provide support for faculty and students involved in research projects.
The university is working on the infrastructure , and hopefully it will complete the whole setup with in a year . since , it is a new University so it is still building but it will get complete very soon.
I can say my college had good infrastructure and was upgrading time to time and do maintain proper cleaning and food hygiene, but it doesn't pack in some of the expects like not having WiFi in the campus.
College has best infrastructure in the town with all the facilities which includes library sports center hostel and huge mess to sit and eat delicious food with great quality and hygienic and best place in the college

It is very difficult to predict the actual jee mains rank from your percentile as it varies on several parameters like number of students appeared for exam,how tough the paper was along with how many seats are available in different universities and performance of candidates appeared. Based on previous few years trends and cutoff your predicted rank should be around 290941 to 327060. Based on this rank getting government colleges will be difficult but the government colleges you may get are

Don't worry. All the colleges will be having separate boys and girls hostels and warden will be in duty. But the government college hostel is not much safer than the private colleges. Since they will not be good maintenance and the register will not be followed and it is strictly followed in private colleges.
