Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 2.4k rank in sastra I would like to tell you there is no particular cut off for sastra University. This merit list has been prepared by the scores of JEE mains and 12th scores.
But as per the previous year trends you should be able to grab cse branch in this college as the cut off generally is around 6k.
For more information you can check out the link given below-
Hi
There is no special cutoff and the admission is solely dependent on the availability of seats in the university. It solely depends on your rank in sastra university's merit list. As for CSE your rank should not be above 500, maximum 700 but not more than that. Only then you may have a chance in getting a seat, This is from stream 1. For stream 2 your board percentage is considered where it should be more than 98.6%.
Based on your rank it will be difficult for you to get a seat at the university

Hey,
There is a very high chance that you will get through it as any stream is open to you and they demand for a rank of less than 500 in stream 1 or 2. Though the cut-off rank varies from year to year, you must have a rank of less than 500 to be guaranteed at Sastra University.
Now it depends on the number of applications and the seats according to that, But I guess you'll get through it.
Wish you all the very best,
Regards.
dear aspirant,
CSBS is a brand new and a revolutionary branch in engineering.
Syllabus based more on skills than theory which most of the big MNCs require. The CS syllabus remains same but instead of a few topics about ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING are excluded and instead business topics like statistics etc are included.TCS has promised to prefer students with CSBS over CSE, so higher chance of placement in not only TCS but similiar companies like infosys , accenture etc.The course is designed so that skilled engineers and not bookworms are produced, which make you stand out from the crowd of CSE students. If you choose to do higher studies in MBA you will have an upper hand than the other engineering students..
regards.
Hello Aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that at your rank their are fair chances of getting cse branch as cse seats closes below 1000 only . Moreover, specilization courses are very high in demand and competition is very high which leads have very low closing rank. Depending exact rank would be difficult as cut off depends on number of applications and their preferences. Though their are very less chances but hope for the best.
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future. (javascript%3A;)

Dear aspirant,
Let me tell you that sastra University has no particular cut off. In deciding the merit list by the college authorities 70% weightage is given to jee mains scores and 30% weightage is given to 12th scores.
So, one can't decide exactly what will be allotments because these things depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, difficulty level of the paper.
