College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean

it is good feel to write review for helping juniors

Have a question related to SASTRA University Thanjavur ?

my son got 84.964 percentile in mains and 97% in +2 .can he get admission in sastra university

Hi,

With an 84.964 percentile in JEE Mains and 97% in class 12, your son has a strong chance of getting admission to SASTRA University, especially unded stream 1 (which consider both JEE and Class 12 marks) and Stream 2 (which only consider Class 12 marks). He should apply for both streams to increase the chances.

May this will help you.

Hello

SASTRA University Admission :

B.Tech via two streams :

1. JEE Main + 12th marks (70% seats)

2. Only 12th marks (30% seats)

With 176.5 cutoff marks, admission chances depend on state board & competition.

Placements :

Top recruiters : TCS, Infosys, Amazon etc.

Average package : Rs 4-6 LPA

Highest package : RS 30+ LPA

Placement rate : 90%+

hope this helps you .

I got 981 marks in intermediate Andhra pradesh board exam and I got 85 percentile in jee mains Can I get seat in sastra university for IT (information technology) course. please say

Hello,

To determine your eligibility under Stream 1, you would need to know your actual JEE Main score (not percentile), as the combined score calculation requires it. Without this, it's challenging to compute your exact SASTRA Rank for Stream 1.

For Stream 2, with a 98.1% in your Class 12 exams, your normalized score would depend on the highest score in your board. If we assume the highest is 1000, your normalized score remains 98.1%. Admission under Stream 2 is based on the merit list derived from these normalized scores.
