The duration of the program is 3 years and it bestows the fundamental principles and practices of mechanical engineering.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: Similar to Mechanical Engineering, this Diploma in Electrical Engineering is also through the JEXPO for the admission of first-year students. The course has an intake capacity that is sanctioned of 60 seats. Candidates qualifying the JEXPO examination will be considered eligible for admission into the program. This three-year program equips students with the knowledge and skills of electrical engineering.

Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering: The same process of admission applies to the Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering as well as for the above two programs; it is also admission through JEXPO for first-year students. It has the same sanctioned intake of 60 seats in this exclusive program providing specialized training in metallurgical engineering for three years.

All these three diploma courses allow lateral entry into the second year through the VOCLET examination. The opportunity provides students who have gained some vocational qualifications access to the programs directly in the second year, depending on the eligibility requirements and parity in the available seats.
