Decent infrastructure. Labs and workshops are quite well maintained. Though advanced or modern technologies are not available always, still equipments are quite helpful for every students. Canteen serves good quality food and also at a very reasonable rate with proper hygiene.
Almost all faculties are well educated, decent, helpful. Some of them are very friendly towards students, gives excellent placement and job advices whenever needed or are asked. Though there may be exceptions.
Departments like CSE, IT have good placements. It highest CTC varies from year to year. The placement in other core branches are decent comparatively. Almost every students with good academic background and scores can get a good placement.
College infrastructure is very nice in terms of library classroom and lab.Classroom is well equipped with modern technology and teachers are very understanding and unique. Laboratories are specialised for all required subjects.
Academics of my college is very nice .The curriculum of this college is very to the point of the course. There are more than five departments including civil engineering, mechnical engineering, biotechnology, etc.
Placement of this college is very good. As ninety percent of the students get placed in good companies. The average package of the computer science engineering students are five lacks per Annum. Overall placement of all department is good.
Overall, this college is value for money because the placement is very good.
Campus life is very fantastic you can enjoy a lot.
Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms are well equiped with smart boards and normal boards for interactive sessions with the faculty, the professors are all well experienced and have amazing grasp of their domain, the labs have good equipments, the library contains more than 70000 books and are only increasing. The hostel area is wonderful with good environment. The food here is also good.
I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. The professors are all well versed in their domain and the classes are interactive. Our college being an autonomous institution, with the upcoming technology rise tries to teach the students what would be useful to make us industry ready.
In this recession period the quality of placements are only average but once the market comes back up it will be back to normal again with an average package of 5-6 lpa. Almost 70% of students got placed in 2033 and the highest package offered was 10 lpa.
This institute is a good value for money to study in with a cost of only one lakh per year approx.
The best feature of the college would be the students as all of us can together participate in various cultural programs together and sports as well.
The college infrastructure is very nice. It has many college facilities, like libraries and laboratories. It has various good features in the laboratories, like all the equipment that is available for you to utilize.
Acedemics is good as all the faculties are very educated; they know how to teach the students and share knowledge. The relationship between the teacher and students is very good, and it plays a very important role in your success in life.
Overall placement is good, but this year's placement is low due to the recession in the IT sector.I think more than 90 percent of computer science and information technology students got placed. But I believe overall college placement is very nice and is increasing.
Good, you can take it as its fee and placement are acceptable.
Campus life is very nice; you can enjoy it.
Overall, I can say you can take the admission.
In the realm of education, the distinction between college and school is paramount. While college is an institution of higher learning typically pursued after secondary education, school encapsulates a broader spectrum, encompassing primary and secondary levels. Schools play a foundational role in shaping young minds, laying the groundwork for future academic pursuits. Within the school environment, students undergo. But not for college students.
The quality of education is a critical factor shaping the trajectory of a student's academic journey, and unfortunately, in some instances, it falls below the desired standard. When the study quality is below average, students may encounter challenges that hinder their overall learning experience. Subpar infrastructure, outdated teaching methodologies, and insufficient resources can contribute to a decline in educational quality. In such environments, students may not receive the necessary tool
In the employment landscape, it's not uncommon for some companies to offer salaries that may be perceived as below industry standards. one offers a notably package of 1.2 lakhs per annum. Very less company come in campus.
My college is good at infrastructure and having good facility so that the value of my college increases. there are well equipped class rooms and lab to do experiments. A big library with lots of books.
The academic facilities at our college is very nice. My college boasts a diverse and dedicated faculty, which significantly contributes to the overall academics experience. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields.
Our college often have tie-ups with various companies to facilitate interships for their students. These internships provide students with practical experience in their respective field of study. Its is essential to actively seek out these opportunities.
Infrastructure is very nice and all the facilities, staff and teachers are also very friendly and nice to students and solve their doubts and problems regularly. Food is very tasty there and canteen is also good.
I was studying B.Tech Mechanical Engineering here and the knowledge I gained from here is very valuable. Curriculum is updated regularly and quality of teaching is also very good. Learning here is simple and fun.
Placements here are 100% but packages are not good. For B.Tech CS students average package was 12-13 lakhs but for other streams packages were comparatively low. But, overall placement process is smooth and cooperative.
College infrastructure is good facility and equipments are also good the facility in the classroom is decent like Wi-Fi smart class smart board all are available sports centre and hostel facilities are also available I would say it's a best collegeinfrastructure in Kolkata.
For the course b.tech engineering the academics is up to the mark and the faculty was also doing their great job the methodology of teaching is great recommended this college through WBJEE if you get selected through the exam.
If I talk about placement the placement decent according to the college the placement is not up to the mark the average package of b.tech engineering in electronics is average of 4.5 or 5 lakh per annum.
Yes it is value for money college provide you more practical knowledge or giving opportunity to the all student who show their own innovation or experiment in the campus they will provide you environment are you can improve your growth.
In first and second year the campus life is good but if you become a senior then you will not that up to the mark your campus life but I would say it's a good college where you can study or enjoy your life the location of college is in good area for a girl it's a safe and secure.
In hitk classrooms , laboratories, libraries was good . But sports activities environment was not good. Hostels facilities available for girls only.So if you are boy then you will definitely miss hostels life.
I was studying computer science. Quality of teaching was average. Most of the faculty there looking for PhD or for a short period of time. Some teachers was good like Venu bihani, Bm ma'am , saikat sir
Quality of placement was average. Most of the students was placed in my batch with avg package around 5 lpa. Yes placement process was smooth and pleasant for everyone.highest in campus placement was around 14 lpa .
As per my experience hitk was value for money.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure and it is well equipped with all libraries, lab and sports centers. Living Spaces and food are indeed hygienic. We do have projectors in almost all the classes.
I am a B.Tech 2nd Yr CSE student. The quality of teaching is good enough to get into intermediate and below intermediate companies. Syllabus is also partially. updated according to the current needs of recruiters.
The quality of placements in our college is fairly impressive. It has recorded an average placement of 90 - 95 per cent. Mainly CSE students are offered the highest salary package of 7-10 LPA. Placements are average.
It has an average fees of 90K per year which is quite good. And I think if we consider total investment and it's return value , then this college is somewhere above average.
The college has a huge ground and a big canteen. Students do get sports opportunities but only limited number of students get it. Teachers are supportive and it's location is the best thing.

Choosing between Biotechnology and Civil Engineering depends on your interests and career goals. Biotechnology can offer exciting opportunities in research, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, especially if you're passionate about biological sciences and innovation in life sciences. Civil Engineering, on the other hand, provides a more traditional engineering path with opportunities in infrastructure development and construction.
If you're interested in biotechnology and the field excites you, it could be a worthwhile choice. However, if you feel more inclined towards traditional engineering and the opportunities it presents, you might have considered civil engineering more suitable. Both fields have their merits, so it's essential to align your choice with your career aspirations and interests.
Hope it helps..
