Nalhati Government Polytechnic, Birbhum Admission Process

Nalhati Government Polytechnic (NGP), Birbhum is a technical institute providing diploma education in engineering streams. 6. Counselling and Seat Allotment: The shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling. Based on their merit rank and seat availability, they will be allotted the desired course.

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma in Automobile Engineering: There are 60 seats for automobile engineering in NGP. This course is offered on the basis of merit, based on the qualifying examination. The course duration is three years. It covers the design, manufacturing and maintenance of vehicles.

Diploma in Computer Science and Technology The NGP offers 60 seats for the diploma in computer science and technology. The candidates are selected on the basis of merit as per the candidate’s academic performance in 10th standard or its equivalent. The course duration is three years.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course also has an intake of 60 students. Admission is also on the basis of merit based on the candidate’s academic record. The course duration is three years.
