NIFT Hyderabad Facilities

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Hyderabad campus is located in close proximity to the state craft village, Shilparamam, and India's IT hub, Hi-tech city. This strategic location represents the institute's motto of balancing tradition and modernity. The campus was established in 1999 and boasts of modern amenities while still being rooted in cultural diversity. One of the highlights of the NIFT Hyderabad campus is its hostel, which is exclusively for girls. The hostel has 238 rooms that can accommodate up to 476 students. Additionally, there are 8 guest rooms available for parents at nominal rates, subject to availability. The hostel also offers medical and doctor facilities, a recreation room, and indoor sports facilities.

College Infrastructure

The college comprises of all modern education technology and facilities. There are RFID readers for books issue via ID Cards, also the labs are fully equipped with well maintained imported machinery for all the branches. The there are digital classrooms and online attendence system is there for tracking students. Sports facility is one of the best in Hyderabad campus as compared to remaining 16 campuses of NIFT. Fully wifi equipped campus. Only girls hostel is available in campus. Clean and tidy

The experience in college is good and students get to learn.

College Infrastructure

The college has very good infrastructure. It has also been recognised as one of the colleges with best infrastructure. It has all the facilities - classrooms with smart boards, labs, machinery and tools, workshop area, sports ground, library and canteen. It has a girls hostel within the campus. There is wifi connection in the campus. All the spaces are clean and hygenic.

College Infrastructure

Architecture and infrastructure are both v good. Infact I think NIFT hyd is one the best NIFT campus, Architecture wise. There are many many labs, I honestly don't even know half of them. There's a ground, 2 canteens, gym etc etc

The National Institute of Fashion Technology were likely to release the NIFT 2022 application form in the fourth week of October 2021 in online mode however it is not rolled out yet. You can check the official website for the latest updates.

Steps to fill the NIFT Application Form 2022 (Once released)

Register for NIFT 2022
Fill in the personal details in the NIFT 2022 application form
Provide the educational qualification details
Upload scanned image of photograph and signature
Pay the registration fee
Download and print the NIFT application form

Below mentioned are the documents you should keep ready beforehand:

Valid Email Id
Details of Educational Qualification
Personal Details
Certificate of Disability (if applicable)
ST/SC/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
Scanned Image of Signature
Scanned Image of Photograph
Details of Credit/Debit card in case of making payment online
Demand Draft of required amount (Rs.2000 in case of GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates and Rs.1000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates drawn in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi in case making payment DD

NIFT being NIFT has the highest no.of placement offers rolled out to their students in 2019. As many as 352 companies have offered placements to the students in their Campus. Few of the companies were 02 June Design studio, Abhishek Zaveri, AK Studio, Agni, Blackberrys, Bloomcraft Apparels, Boat Song, Charmboard Deco De Trend, etc.The companies that visit the campus should match the eligibility criteria listed for registering to recruit NIFT students through their placement drive. Based on their product or its operations, thr companies are Categorised into:

First Categorisation: Product Group

Second Categorisation: Type of Firms

2rd Categorisation: Type of skill sets/functions

Hi,

At the postgraduate level in NIFT, you will be offered 3 courses relating to fashion which are M.Des or master in design, M.F.M or master in fashion management and lastly M.FTech or master in fashion technology. All the 3 courses are for a duration of 2 years.
