NIFT Kannur Facilities

The academic block has 8 floors accommodating spacious classrooms, modern computer labs, pattern-making labs, garment construction labs, and photography studio. Hands-on experience in weaving, textile processing, printing and material labs in the workshop block.

Physical and online stock of knowledge is available in the resource center. The college library facility has books related to fashion studies and related disciplines. Other resources of the library include periodicals, national and international journals, e-books, online databases, CDs, DVDs, etc. Accommodation available for girls within the campus. The 400-seated Lecture Hall/Auditorium is the hub for important events that are hosted by the college regularly. Film nights, dance recitals, and music shows are mostly conducted in the amphitheater, emphasising on all round development of its students. It has a cafeteria that provides fresh, hygienic and healthy food at reasonable rates.

Medical aid is available on campus. A doctor and nurse are available to attend to the general medical concerns of the students. A psychologist is also available on campus to counsel students.The college has both indoor and outdoor games facilities. Fields are maintained especially for outdoor games. The college girls' hostel along with those run by private enterprises provides residential accommodation for the students. National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur girls hostel facility has 24X7 professional security systems, qualified hostel wardens, and on-call availability of a doctor. The hostels also have indoor and outdoor games including television as recreational facilities.

The photography laboratory of the National Institute of Fashion Management Kannur has advanced hardware and modern equipment like Manfrotto tilt-pan tripods, diffusing materials, Elinchrom lights, motorized backdrops, and radio triggers, etc. The lab facilitates a deeper understanding of photography and helps in projects and research.
Auditorium
The college auditorium is used for organizing talk shows, events, seminars, and many more. NIFT Kannur auditorium is spacious and has a large hall.
