The strength of the course is 60. Admission is on the basis of JEXPO exam. Candidates who have passed 10th standard with compulsory subjects of Mathematics and Physical Science are eligible.

2. Diploma in Computer Science and Technology: There are 60 seats for this course. The course is admitted through JEXPO. The eligibility for this course is the same as other diploma courses.

3. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering There are 60 seats available for this course too. Admissions are through JEXPO. The eligibility for this course is the same as other diploma courses of the institute.

Selection to all three diploma courses is by rank through JEXPO examination. Counseling and seat allotment is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development.
