The college infrastructure is outstanding which you can tell by the looks of it. It consists of a library,an auditorium, cafeteria, research labs, seminar halls and an atrium. The Academic block consists of three wings and has more than 100 classrooms. It also has a hostel block for both girls and boys separately. Amity has wireless broadband internet connectivity. All of it is used and maintained very well. The campus is eco-friendly.
I am currently pursuing BSc(H) Biotechnology and I would say the quality of teaching is excellent under my departmental teachers. In this pandemic, they are doing their very best to make us understand in the simplest way possible. We are introduced to the core subjects from the very beginning. They are partly what we studied in our high school but in a more detailed manner. We are being prepared in such a way that by the end of our three years, we are ready to face the job iinterview.
Most of the seniors got placements in good companies. Various companies visit the college throughout the year and most of the students get placements. The selection is made on basis of interviews. The highest salary goes upto 18 LPA and the average salary is around 4-5 LPA. Many students go for further for their higher studies.
The cost per year is around 1 lakh but if you are a scholarship student then your fee will be much reduced in the first year. And if you continue to rank in the top 10, then the scholarship will be maintained. According to me, it is worth the money.
In this pandemic situation, I did not get the opportunity to enjoy my college life but I am looking forward to it.
We have well maintained classroom with air conditioner facilities and labs with well maintained machines and equipment college provide us a very good environment this college have a very good sports facilities also
academics of this college is very good and this college provides a good tech and coding culture also the professor of this college are best of the subject knowledge and yes our college curriculum is well and updated
placement stats are also good as average is around 10 lac per annum also the companies which hire the student come in this college are almost 90%of the the student were placed and yes the placement process is easy
Our course cost is around 320000 per annum yes we getting the money's worth that we pay as this college provide a good coding culture and a good knowledge so yes obviously it worths and placement is also good so investing in such a good college is also good
our college has a good and a green campus and night life in campus is very good and winter experience of college is too good and a college is located at a beautiful location outside jaipur city which is farther from main city
College infrastructure is good huge buildings and corridors are there and in terms of infrastructure I think it's best in class and the environment all around is very good there are a lot of green area inside campus.
One of the many good things is the infrastructure of the college which is amazingly beautiful. All the facilities are provided by the college as promised. Classrooms are airy and big, canteens have delicious food and Library has all the book needed.
The course curriculum is comprehensive covering all the aspects of the field along with allied sciences as well as sociology, philosophy and political science with history. The comprehensive approach leads a hostilic development as a psychologist.
The placement facilities is satisfactory in the kolkata campus where I have studied. Whilst it depends upon your course and cgpa. Many good companies comes for placements. The placement process is also not much hard. I wanted to pursue higher studies, so I opted from the placements.
Money depends upon the course you are opting for. Some course fees are fairly feasible financially while some may look a little expensive. But the scholarship facility as well as the option of college sponsor is present if you meet the eligibility criteria.
The college is just good for its vast infrastructure and for its various events it holds. You will get everything within the campus, right from canteen to Library to CCD to auditorium to seminar halls to big and fully furnished classrooms. Overall the infrastructure is great.
The course curriculum is quite on par with the standards and the exam structure is also quite good. The curriculum is followed strictly by the faculties and the exams also have strict policies with quite tough question paper.
As per my knowledge the placement and job opportunities are very much good if you are really good and hard working student and have the ambition. As I have already passed out and wanted to pursue MBA, I didn't sat for placements.
The fees structure is not really feasible. It's expensive compared to other colleges or universities but the facilities are good as well. The cost of my course was about 7.8 lacs in four years. I don't think it's that much money worthy.
The college is good in extracurricular too, there used to be a basketball court, lawn tennis court and a Futsal court and badminton court. But all are diminished right now because an sports complex is being built.
Amity University, Kolkata has impeccable Infrastructure which is beyond perfection and has all the necessary facilities and equipments. The classrooms are well furnished and the Hostel tends to have strict rules but is clean and easy to access. The library is very convenient and the sports infrastructure is also enthusiastic.
I am presently pursuing BBA LLB (h) and due to the pandemic situation, Amity University is conducting persistent online classes and the quality is excellent. The study materials are frequently provided and the the curriculum is updated thoroughly - vivas and quizzes are held regularly with presentations and extempores, which tends to prepare us fully for a work atmosphere.
Amity University is well known for providing interviews to the students of reputed companies like Byju's and Deloitte. The students are placed with good salaries and this tends to give a good reputation to the name and fame of the college.
My course costs 2.5L on an average per year. When on-campus classes were conducted, the amount was justified but due to online classes, there should be concession.
The college campus has one of the best infrastructures of West Bengal. The best feature is how clean and easily accessible the facilities of the campus is, the library, the hostel, the hygienic canteen, everything contributes to its name and fame. Yes, the hostel could tone down a little bit on its rules but overall, it is a great experience with propper safety and professional teachers and Professors.
I miss the on-campus college experience due to this pandemic. It is a very beautiful college and the facilities are diligently wonderful as per my recollection.
There are many labs like chemistry lab, electrical lab, mechanical lab, computer lab, engineering graphics lab and many more. There are a lot of sports facilities like badminton, basketball, football and many more in the sports complex. Overall infrastructure is quite great.
The course was pretty well planned but in my opinion it could have been improved a further lot. Teachers and seniors were very helpful and cooperative. Exams are conducted in every semester and is divided into two parts.
Placements were also great in my department. Almost every one was placed. The packages offered by the company was also great. I got placed in TCS but I wanted to pursue MBA, therefore I decided to opt out from placement.
Overall the university fees is quite expensive as compared to other private colleges in West Bengal. But the facilities it provides is also great and does justice with the fees. But in my opinion if the fees would have been low then it might have been great.
Overall it was a good experience.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure like library, labs, spacious classrooms smart board and are well maintenaned and clean. There infrastructure is one of the best thing about this College. I am lucky enough to attend 1st year of my college life at campus.
I am studying Btech in Electronics and Communication. I have constantly loved Engineering. The professors are fantastic at what they do. They honestly help you apprehend and love what you study. This College is exceptional and i am happy that i decided to study here.
I am currently in the second year of my course. I don't know much about placements at present. Will update this post once i get the knowledge regarding the same. Till then it's all from my side regarding the placement.
No doubt it is expensive but it is worth the expense. College provides all the necessary facilities and for sure nothing comes for free. So, they are charging fair i guess. If quality of education increases a bit more then for me it will be great totally. The fees of the whole course is around 6-7 lac. Its a 4 year course.
The seniors in the College are honestly best. The professors are very accessible and answer to every query, even though the college has restrained activities in terms of events organized, yet we can participate in any event or fest and the seniors and teachers are really great in assisting.
Amity university has one of the exceptional cutting-edge infrastructure in West Bengal. The campus has centralised air-conditioner, and wifi facility is available for all of the college students. It has three canteens and it has laboratories on every ground and a medical facility is likewise available. The college rooms and spacious and properly maintained. The Library is very clean and calm that's perfect for a taking a look at the surroundings.
It was good. i studied bachelors in applied psychology here. Professors were truely cool and knowledgeable. They didn't just taught us syllabus, however taught us different things too which had been crucial and mind blowing .
I don't know about placements because I didn't opted for it. I wanted to pursue higher studies in my field so went for it. I guess placements were pretty good. I can't say for sure, but as far as i heard from my friends, ut was good.
It was expensive for me, being from a middle class family it was expensive to me. If you have some financial issue you can go for loan as i did. There are plenty of banking organization in association with College.
Overall campus life was amazing, i made a lot of memories in this College and I hope that you will also make a lot. You will have some of the best time of your life at my college. You will never get bored and enjoy a lot through out your college life at Amity University.
That was all from my side. I hope it will help you in selecting right College for you.
High-quality infrastructure that i've ever came across in Kolkata. I don't have any offense in opposition to this College. It is the best for any Student to take admission and continue there studies. There infrastructure is one of the best thing about this College. I am lucky enough to attend few years of my college life at campus. Though, i miss it badly.
As i'm doing Btech in computer science in Amity. I think this stream is a great path for job offers, infact aside from the job fields, computer science is one of the most pursued field at present. Moreover, the job market is great. The professors are knowledgeable and teaches very well.
Placements are splendid in our university. Placement depends on what stream you are in. The university is also very supportive in terms of placements. Majority of college students get their interested jobs and that's the one cause why i took admission in this College. The average package of my department is around 4-4.5 lpa. The highest goes to 6-7 lac too. Hoping to get a good placement in coming year.
No doubt it is expensive but it is worth the expense. College provides all the necessary facilities and for sure nothing comes for free. So, they are charging fair i guess. If quality of education increases a bit more then for me it will be great totally.
Campus life at amity is great. The campus is fully high tech with wifi support at every corner. There is a lot of fun activities to do around and take participate in. There are a lot of events being organized by the college. The teachers and staff are well mannered and supportive. It is situated in new town and it can handel emergency really well.
Overall my experience is great at amity University Kolkata. I hope my review will help you in selecting you a good College.
Amity University Kolkata is equipped with the latest modern technologies and holds one of the best infrastructure including projectors in every classrooms and well furnished classrooms. Library is well maintained by the college authority and consists of books of various domains. The college comprises of Wi-Fi within the campus area and is well maintained. New sports complex has been brought up in the university campus next to hostel block. The canteens are well hygienic and well maintained.
Coming to academics, the curriculum is updated each and every semesters where one can get a specific knowledge about the course study. The course is evenly covering the full semesters and is well equipped with various credit courses in every field of study. Well if one can say about the job ready then I will tell that yes, if one can go through well throughout the subjects they will make it for you.
The situation of placement is that if you have great cgpa and kept up it well all through your course then you will easily get placement. The placement is average, not much core companies comes so all you will get is the it sectors. They are the mass recruiters at present. The average package is around 3-4 lpa and it differs department from department.
The course expenses is high, however I realize that infrastructure and everything is high class, yet at the same time it's excessively high. My course charges is approx 7 lac. To the extent framework and any remaining infrastructures are concerned, fees is worth yet with the course and showing its excessively high. The nature of teaching could be raised a piece.
Campus life is thrilling and adventurous. Some of the best features are canteen, library, cafe coffee day, amphitheatre and various sports department. There is nothing worst as such. The students and teachers are very much cooperative and understanding. College staffs keel College clean. It is located in New Town
Overall the College is good with all the basic necessities present. Life at amity will go through many ups and down. You Just need to stay calm.
It's tough to find a college in Jharkhand that promises you'll definitely get a great job after graduation. No school can really promise that. But, I can tell you about some good colleges that usually have pretty good placement results and fit your budget.
1.Birla Institute of Technology(BIT), Mesra (Ranchi )
Known for its strong placement success, BIT Mesra provides diverse B.Tech programs (Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.). While fees depend on the specific program, they are usually within your range. It's best to confirm current fees on their website. They have a very effective placement cell that brings in many leading recruiters.
2.National Institution of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur
Another excellent option in Jharkhand is NIT Jamshedpur, known for its strong placement history and diverse B.Tech programs. As a central government institution, its fees are generally more reasonable. It also has a very effective placement cell.
3.Government College of Engineering, Ramgarh
Being a government college, the fees are significantly lower, making it an accessible option. While placement records might not match those of NIT or BIT, it's still a valuable choice, especially for students seeking budget-friendly education.
4. Cambridge Institute of Technology, Ranchi
This institute, a private option, has established a good reputation in the region. They provide a range of B.Tech programs, with a focus on practical, industry-related skills. Before applying, thoroughly examine their placement history and fee schedule.
I hope this helps.
