5 Chemical Engineering students at CU have been placed with top-tier companies.
CU becomes the first University to tie up with 515+ universities across 100 countries and 6 continents.
Yes my college provides various facilities to us like, TJ food court, academic blocks, newly built library in D6 block, auditorium, sports ground for various sports, tennis hall, badminton hall and many more. Hostels facilities can be availed by both boys and girls, the food of hostels are made with cleanliness and hygiene is maintained. One thing I disliked is that, wifi service is available but it's not working properly in academic blocks.
I'm pursuing MBA from this campus. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. They help us to make understand what they are teaching. They create a familiar vibe with students so that we did not hesitate to ask any questions regarding to their subjects. Industrial visit by or campus makes us job ready.
In our previous batch almost 70% of students gets placed in various companies. And all of them are happy with the job profiles and the package the companies offered. The highest package was international which was around ₹28.7 lacs given by Amazon. One thing I dislike is that they overhype their placement ratio which in real was fake. But yes they provide best companies for students but it's all about how students grab opportunities.
The cost of my course is ₹250000 a year, but they conduct a scholarship exam for students named as CUCET.
Students can engage in various co curricular activities which help them to boost confidence.
Nothing
Infrastructure is well designed because university looks majorly after their infrastructure because that is the primary attraction for most students and newcomers. Also I don't think there is any point in building nice infrastructure when students are not allowed to roam there in their free time.
I won't say CU is excellent in academics because our department did not met the finest teachers and faculty. many of our teachers where not well behaved and way too traditional. Also one of my friends in Agriculture department in CU itself complained the same.
Most of my friends got no placement because our department was not able to bring up the companies for placements unlike other departments like engineering and MBA. Most of my batchmates looked for jobs off campus.
At our time, fees was not that high
Campus life was good but there is not much liberty to students and authority is full of narrow minded people
My experience at CU was not as good as expected primarily because the university consists of narrow minded authority and also impose huge fee for any backlogs(very high in our case).
Yes the college does have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. If I talk about infrastructure it was so amazing, blocks are divided according to the courses. And I was in academic block D, it was sub divided into D1, D2 till D7, it was divided on the basis of specialization. Hostels are also available for students, they do have their own hospital named as Alpha chandigarh hospital.
I've done my post graduation in MBA general, and the professors those who are teaching us are experienced in their fields. Our college provides a pre placement training program for students so that we get an idea about how interviews in placements are taken, and for real it helps us a lot while placement drives, it boost our confidence and improves our communication skills.
As I've talked earlier about the pre placement training program, so it helps us a lot for performing well in placement drives. The highest package of our course was of ₹28.7 lacs provided by Amazon. In my batch 2022-2024 around every student gets placed who ever sit in placement drives, and all of us are happy with with the job profiles and packages they offered us.
The cost of my course was ₹100000lacs a semester. Yes investing my money in this college was a good choice.
The best feature about the college is that they are more focused on practical learning. The faculties are supportive in every aspects.
Enjoy your college life, htese days never get back.
The college provides a well established infrastructure. Basic necessities like Gym, Food court, Ac rooms, Wifi, Canteen services, Hostels for girls and for boys and many more. And if I talk about the cleanliness and hygiene it was well maintained in the campus. The classes gets cleaned in regular basis. The quality of food in mess was excellent, varities of food was served in mess. Overall the infrastructure was 10/10.
The course from which I've completed my post graduation is MBA, and the fees of the course was ₹100000/sem. Every year the fees of our course is increasing by 10%. If I discuss about the quality of the faculties, they are well qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They try their best to make us understand what they are teaching. Management take us for the industrial visit every month so that we get the practical knowledge of how industries works.
About the placement ratio I will tell you some truth. The percentage of placement offers they are showing in their advertisement are all fake, the reality was all different. Only 70-80% students gets placed in companies. There are various eligibility criteria for a student to sit in placement drives. When I was in college the no. Of sections in our course MBA general was 30, and when the next academic year gets started the sections were dropped to 21 from 30.
Yes they provide quality education, but if you are taking admission for getting a higher package, you must work on your skills as well as you need to maintain your CGPA.
Excellent.
No
College infrastructure was the best in all the terms either for the facilities or required equipment's and moreover there were fully tech classrooms for the students . campus is having too Wi-Fi facilities , hostel facilities for both the boys and girls too. All the things were well maintained.
The faculty members were too good as there were better quality of teaching for the students. All the faculty members were supportive and helpful too. All lectures were PHD Degree holders and well professional with good teaching experience.
The quality of placement at the college was really too good. There was an placement cell for the campus drives and they brings the good opportunities for the students. Regular placement drives , internship drives and also many workshops to encourage the students individual self development.
A memorable and lifetime memories from the college life.
Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Our college has provide us every facilities like A/C sports centre and hostel. Welcome to MC music world And they are all well maintained.
I am studying MBA because i am want to make carrer in Finance department. The quality of teaching is good in campus. Yes according to my curriculum is updating and includes all the recent developments.
The quality of placement at our college is decent. It is depend on the student how good he is for the placement. The highest salary 28 lakhs package offered in mba course only. The average salary offered here is around 40000 as i know that.
My coarse cost around 3 lakhs per year. And this is reasonable amount for doing MBA from a private college. Yes i feel that i am getting my money's worth by doing MBA from this college and here environment is also good for study.
Our college campus is great in everything when it comes to events, study and sports. Here students get advantage of doing extra curricular activities by joining different different types of clubs and associations.
No.
The infrastructure of our college was so amazing, it provides various facilities like Library, gym, food court, basketball ground, and other grounds for different sports, transport facilities are available, they also have their own hospital for emergency (Alpha chandigarh hospital). The campus is widespread on 300 acre of land. Every day some activity is going on in the campus. The blocks are distributed according to the courses like A block, B block, C block, D block and F block. Main entrance of the college is from gate 1 where is the office of the our MD Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu.
The faculties which are provided by the university is well qualified and experienced, they have the vast knowledge about the industries. The faculties are available 24 hours to solve the doubt of the students. Students from different states as well as from different countries came here to study. The reason is that the campus provide quality education, which help us job ready.
The placements of our campus are outstanding, from our previous batch most of the students gets placed in MNCs's like Wipro, Infotech, Deloitte, TCS, Dell and many more. And everyone was happy for the role which are provided to them in placement. One thing is that our campus provide us a pre placement training program named as TPP in which they trained us about how interviews are taken, and they even work on our soft skills like communication and all.
Yes
Students form diverse backgrounds stay together under same roof.
5/5.

The university has over 100+ national and 80 international faculty members that visit the campus from time to time. The faculty is very helpful, and they are ready to help whenever we need them, apart from college studies.

The highest domestic and international packages offered during Chandigarh University placement 2023-2024 stood at INR 170 LPA and INR 54.75 LPA, respectively.
Yes it could provide the best value for your money.
Excellent.
When I joined this college I was a little shy but when I take participate in extracurricular activities, my stage fear has gone completely. So rather than your academics stay focused on your extra curricular activities too.
I had high hopes when I decided to enroll at Chandigarh University, but my experience has been far from what was promised. One of the most frustrating aspects is the blatant misinformation provided during the admission process. The university boasts of state-of-the-art infrastructure, but the reality is starkly different. The facilities are nowhere near as modern or well-maintained as advertised. While I must commend the cleanliness of the hostels, the management leaves much to be desired. The wardens are largely ineffective, often taking an inordinate amount of time to address technical or other issues, if they respond at all. Moreover, the behavior of most wardens is extremely poor, making it difficult for students to approach them with concerns. The lack of freedom in the hostel is another major issue. Even in emergencies, we are not allowed to leave the hostel, which is incredibly frustrating and restrictive. Additionally, the Wi-Fi facility is atrocious. It is slow most of the time and sometimes doesn't work at all, which hampers our ability to study and complete assignments. The overall management of the university is abysmal. The toilets in the hostels are often broken and in a state of disrepair. The exam schedules and overall timetables are disorganized, not reflecting the standards one would expect from a professional college or business school. Furthermore, the university does not offer industrial visits in the first year, which is a missed opportunity for practical learning and exposure. Overall, my experience at Chandigarh University has been disappointing and frustrating, plagued by poor management and unfulfilled promises. I would advise potential students to look elsewhere if they are seeking a well-rounded and professionally managed educational environment.
My experience at Chandigarh University has been quite disappointing, particularly in terms of academics. The classes are overwhelmingly theoretical, with little to no emphasis on practical learning. Despite the university's claims of providing a holistic education, the reality is that the curriculum is not aligned with industry standards or requirements. One of the major letdowns is the lack of practical exposure. Industrial visits, which are crucial for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, are virtually non-existent, especially in the first year. This significantly hampers our understanding of how concepts learned in class are applied in the industry. The teaching methodology is outdated, focusing primarily on rote learning rather than encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This approach does not prepare students for the challenges of the professional world, leaving us ill-equipped to meet industry demands. Overall, the academic experience at Chandigarh University is not what I expected. The lack of practical learning opportunities and industrial exposure makes it difficult to gain the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career. I would not recommend this university to those seeking a well-rounded, industry-relevant education.
My experience at Chandigarh University has been quite underwhelming, especially regarding their placement statistics. One of the most misleading aspects of the university's marketing is the placement data they provide to potential students. They proudly advertise a 100% placement rate and high average salary packages, but this is far from the truth. In reality, the actual placement rate is significantly lower. Many of my peers have struggled to secure jobs, and the university's career services offer minimal support. Additionally, the average salary packages are grossly exaggerated. The figures provided by the university do not reflect the true earning potential of graduates. Most students end up with jobs that pay far less than the advertised average. The university's placement claims seem to be more of a marketing strategy than an accurate representation of the opportunities available to students. This misinformation creates false expectations and can lead to significant disappointment and frustration. Overall, I would caution prospective students to take Chandigarh University's placement data with a grain of salt. The reality does not live up to the promises made during the admissions process. If you're looking for a university that genuinely supports your career aspirations, you might want to consider other options.
Not really value for money.
