The labs and their corresponding equipment are of the highest quality and majority of the faculty are experienced professionals. Classrooms are mediocre in terms of design and comfort as is the WiFi network. Libraries and sports facilities are good. Canteen is clean and hygienic however the Boat Club canteen could do with some work.
The College of Engineering Pune is very prestigious for its impressive infrastructure, which basically enhances the student experience on the campus. Classrooms are also well equipped with the Projectors, digital learning tools and also are very spacious.
The infrastructure of the college is old since British raaj. It's really very peaceful to roam around the campus with your friends while enjoying the greenery of the campus. It has many old buildings and main building is one of them.

For admission to the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), your JEE Main Paper 1 score is crucial as it is one of the primary criteria for B.Tech admissions. However, if you have a strong score in Paper 2 (B.Arch), it won't directly impact your B.Tech admission. COEP primarily considers JEE Main Paper 1 scores for B.Tech admission
That said, having a good score in Paper 2 can still be beneficial if you decide to apply for B.Arch programs at other institutions or if you're considering a career in architecture.

Admission process:
It is conducted either through MHT CET or JEE Main scores based on domicile. State quotas are also available to all the students who hold their domicile in Maharashtra.
Category reservation:
A category of reserved category- those who fall under the reservation schemes like OBC, SC, ST, EWS, gets relaxation of the cutoff and tuition fees remission.
Fees
Government seats are available at COEP at much lower prices than private colleges. Reserved category candidates are exempted from additional fees.
