Hello Aspirant
A rank of 17440 in CUSAT CAT might not be high enough for the most popular courses or categories. However, it's essential to consider the following factors:
Because you belong to the OEC category, you might have a shot at a decent college, but you need to mention the college that you wish to get admitted to so that we can see their eligibility and admission procedure

Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for appearing for the CAT exam is that the candidate must have completed their graduation with an aggregate of 50% (this is for General students, for SC/ST students, it is 45%). The minimum age should be 20 years.
However, candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor's can appear for CAT regardless of their percentage or backlogs. This is, keeping in mind, that you should not be so behind the eligibility that even if you clear CAT you won't be able to get admitted to an MBA college.
Hope this helps
Hello Aspirant
CUSAT CAT is specifically designed for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). While it's not the same as the national-level CAT exam for MBA, the preparation strategy can be similar in many aspects.
Before diving into preparation, it's crucial to understand the exam pattern. CUSAT CAT typically includes sections on:

Cover Physics and Chemistry Basics:
Time Management and Accuracy:
Understand the Exam Pattern:

In top IIMS 10th ,12th marks considered and have weightage in final selection your total marks is taken for the admission. It gives a huge advantage to the students who performed well in the exams. 12th marks is really important in old IIMS like AHMEDABAD, BANGALORE,FMS,LUCKNOW, INDORE. They have weightage of these marks for admission.
don't worry if you don't get good marks as some IIMS like CALCUTTA and new IIMS give chance to students who dont have good academic record and it just have few marks in selection criteria you need to focus on ECA or WORK EXPERIENCE to get your seat in final selection.
It's absolutely feasible to pursue an M.Com while preparing for the CAT. Many students successfully manage both. However, the decision depends on several factors:
Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal circumstances and priorities. If you're confident in managing both, going ahead with M.Com while preparing for CAT can be a strategic move. However, if you feel overwhelmed or believe it might impact your CAT performance significantly, consider deferring admission.
Remember: Your profile is decent, but CAT scores will play a crucial role in securing admissions to top MBA programs. Dedicate ample time to CAT preparation, regardless of your decision.

Yes, it is possible to clear the CAT exam in 700 hours of focused preparation, though it largely depends on the quality of your study plan and your existing knowledge base. Here are some key strategies to maximize your study time effectively:
Structured Study Plan : Divide your 700 hours into a well-structured plan, allocating time to each section: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI-LR). Prioritize weaker areas without neglecting your strengths.
Quality Study Material : Use reputable study materials and resources. Standard books, online courses, and mock tests from recognized coaching centers can provide valuable practice and insights.
Regular Practice and Mock Tests : Consistent practice is crucial. Take regular mock tests to simulate exam conditions, track progress, and identify areas needing improvement. Analyze your performance thoroughly to refine your strategy.
Time Management : Focus on managing time effectively during your preparation and the actual exam. Practice solving questions under timed conditions to improve speed and accuracy.
Stay Consistent and Motivated : Consistency and motivation are key. Keep a positive mindset, stay disciplined, and seek support from peers or mentors if needed.
By leveraging these strategies within your 700-hour preparation window, you can significantly enhance your chances of cracking the CAT exam.

Hello Aspirant
Your performance in CAT is somewhat near average, if not below. With 63 percentile, I don't think you will be able to ace IIMs or any top-rated MBA colleges. All you can opt for is a Tier 2 or Tier 3 MBA college.
MBA is a tad bit expensive course, where the semester-wise fee could range anywhere from 5-10 Lacs, making it a whopping 20 Lac course.
I would sincerely suggest that you give the CAT exam again the next year, with a lot more preparations, and get a higher percentile.
Still, colleges that may accept you with 63 percentile with your 10 L budget are-
These are some of the better known MBA colleges.
Countersigning a document means adding an additional signature to verify its authenticity.
In the context of your OBC NC certificate, it means that the District Magistrate (DM) or an equivalent authority needs to verify the certificate issued by the Tehsildar.
This additional verification step is likely in place to ensure the credibility and authenticity of the caste certificate. It helps prevent fraudulent claims and maintains the integrity of the reservation system.
Your OBC NC certificate, digitally signed by the Tehsildar but without the countersignature of the District Magistrate, may not be valid for the CAT exam.
The CAT notification clearly specifies the requirement of a countersigned certificate. Adhering to this requirement is crucial to avoid any potential issues during the admission process.
It's essential to prioritize getting your certificate countersigned to avoid any potential complications during the CAT admission process.
