IIIT Allahabad All Questions

Both colleges are in same city and offer same course but you will learn different things in both place.

IIIT is coding oriented most of the ece guys do coding here and give less focus on core ece on the other hand in mnnit ece student study ece bit more and core ece study is better there. But iiit has far better infrastructure and labs when compared with mnnit.

So I 'll conclude by saying that iiit has more flavour of coding(IT) in its ece while mnnit offers better core ece. Placements wise both or equal but environment and culture of coding is far better at iiit.

I hope you are doing fine, Students of IIIT Allahabad have classes from monday to friday and they get holidays on saturday and sunday, students enjoy their free time by playing badminton in hostel, cricket, football in ground,playing snooker , table tennis in sac, doing swimming in pool, etc.

In IIITA, every evening time, from 6:00 pm clock, free bus facility is there, bus will go to market, civil lines from college campus and came nearly back to college at 9:30 pm, students go by by buses ,do shopping, eat foods

Average package around 8-9Lakh . If you are average student then you get placed at good package.

In my opinion you should go for NIT Durgapur.

Both the colleges have good faculty, college environment, but in terms of placement NIT Durgapur is much better.

• The ratio of number of companies visiting campus to number of students is more. In simpler words more opportunity in NIT Durgapur.
• As per ranking IIIT Allahabad is at better position than NIT Durgapur, but fests are better than that of IIIT Allahabad.
• NIT Durgapur you'll enjoy all the name and fame of college. Fees is also less and you'll get good job opportunity.

I'll strongly suggest to go for NIT Durgapur, but its all depend on you and your interest. Choose according to your preferences.

On consideration of various factors, both IIIT allahabad and IIIT lucknow stand equal to each other in engineering branches, but speaking of IT branch, IIIT allahabad bags a higher rankings for its IT, because of its high placement and role in academics, in case you want to go for engineering along with management. IIIT lucknow also stands at high ranking for IT with average placement of 11+ LPA

Talking about coding competitively there have been less chance a team from BIT do well in coding competitions. If we talk about a "wide campus" but the total number of students there which is much higher than you would expect at IIITA.

And for those who talk about packages, the standard IIITA package this year was 11.2 lakhs and BIT was 6.33 lakhs.

When I get to the area, I am sure that Allahabad is a better place than Mesra.

All in all, you can choose any program in IIITA over BIT Mesra at any time.

IIIT Allahabad IT + Business informatics is a much better option.

Anyway i won’t suggest anyone for CSAI four year Btech course. Simply do CS/IT or prefer 5 year CS/IT with or without AI specialisation. It will work there.

If you want to become an ML/AI engineer, you've a lot of competition and you need to do a lot of good work in the field to even be considered. Take a calculated risk if you've a genuine interest.

IIIT, Allahabad does not offer Computer Science Engineering. It offers ECE, IT and IT-Business Informatics. Here is the previous year cut off in round 6 of JoSAA counselling for

• Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad: 1076
• Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur: 1215
• National Institute of Technology Durgapur : 2871

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in Computer Science Engineering in the preferred institutes. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

If you have to decide among MNIT and IIIT,Allahabad then please keep the following points in mind while choosing:-

NIRF ranking- MNIT has been ranked 37 while IIIT allahabad has been ranked 87 by NIRF.

Placement and packages of IIIT allahabad are higher than mnit . Students at iiit allahbad are placed at higher packages every year.

The fees structure of mnit is slightly lower in some courses.

Campus - of mnit is better and huge. But basic facilities and infrastructure are good at both the colleges.

Hostel facilities is also available at both.

Students reviews of iiit allahabad are much better than of mnit .

I hope you are doing fine, These all are central government funded institutes so it is clear that these all are counted as the top institutes of the country.

Now about the Branch that you should pick totally depends on your Interest. Most of the students Pick ECE as this is one the common Branch that most Engineer holds. But to be Honest i would suggest you to go with CSAI. You can expect average package in CSE but I think you will get better package in CSAI, may be not in starting but surely after few years. Go for CSAI. Better to go for CSAI, as future is of artificial intelligence.
