IIIT Allahabad Placement Process

The university notifies companies from various industries by sending out JNFs (job notification forms). To provide them with a comprehensive understanding of academics and skill development, they also send pamphlets on placement and the accomplishments of the students.
Companies that accept the offer and those that are interested fill out the JNF with job descriptions, openings, and corporate information, and then they send the information to the university.
Following that, the university informs the students of the openings and the companies coming to campus for a hiring drive. The IIIT Allahabad placement cell will need to receive the names, required documentation, and resumes of the interested students.
The company's arrival on campus for the IIIT Allahabad placement will be scheduled by the IIIT Allahabad placement cell. The company will then confirm the date, after which the students will be informed.

Every year, nearly 96% of students in the course get placed. It has been observed that the majority of students in ECE go for IT jobs and very few go for core jobs. The highest package was Rs 1 crore for an IT student and the average package is around Rs 25 LPA.

Our college always has 100% placement. The highest package was 82 LPA and the average was 32 LPA in 2023. The top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Zomato. My course was information technology, and 98 percent of students got internships from our course.

IIITA is one of the best IIITs in India and the placements here are also very good with around 90 percent of the students getting placed. The average package is around 15-18 LPA and the highest package offered is 70 LPA. The top companies visiting for placements in the ECE branch are Qualcomm and Intel. The percentage of students who get an internship after their third year is also around 85-90 percent and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA.

IIIT Allahabad (IIIT A) offers an MBA program with a focus on IT and management, making it a good choice for those interested in the intersection of technology and business. The institute is well-regarded for its technical programs, and the MBA program benefits from its strong industry connections and academic reputation.

However, placements for the MBA program may not be as strong as those for its engineering courses. The average package in recent years has been around 5-6 LPA, with higher packages for top performers. Companies in IT, consulting, and management often participate in the placements, but the number of core management companies might be fewer compared to traditional business schools.

Hello,

To begin, I'd like to give you a brief overview of a student's life at IIIT Allahabad. The faculties and student clubs deserve a lot of credit for raising the college's standard to such a high level.

In the first and second years, students take C, Data Structures, and Algorithms as one of their Core CS subjects, which is supplemented by great faculty teaching and the support of many student clubs that strive to pass on more and more information and skills to the new freshmen.

It is safe to say that this college has produced some of the top coders in India once a student has completed his two years here and is ready to explore the world of computer science, whether it be through competitive coding, open source contributions, or software development.

When it comes to placement statistics, CSE and IT branches do well because employers value practical skills like coding, app development, web development, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, among others. If IIIT Allahabad is of interest to you for any IT branch, you will think, "Oh!" after three years. I was right, and I was able to secure a 15–30 lac package in India. That is incredible; if you want to join at IIIT-A, do so; otherwise, oh! I miss a significant opportunity.

Hello,

Without a doubt, NIT Bhopal offers superior job placements than IIIT Allahabad. Even the nit brand is far more well-known and bigger in the industry than the IIIT brands. NIT Bhopal may always be chosen above IIIT Allahabad. I believe this causes confusion because IIIT Allahabad has lower opening and closing rankings than IT in NIT, but this is due to its geographic location. Since many more applicants are from UP and desire to attend college there.
