When your score in class 10th and 12th is good. Now when IIMs give a call back for interviews there main focus is on your CAT score with atleast a minimum of 50% score in your graduation. Alongwith the CAT score they also see your resume, whether you have done any internship or any other extra activities that give you an edge over others. So don't fret over school results they are fine as they are.

IIM Shillong had 60 recruiters for the batch 2018-20 that included Bain and Company, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, AB InBev, Mahindra GMC, Godrej and Tata Steel among others. The average salary has been increased by 11.7%. The highest domestic package was 40 Lakhs per annum.

The highest International CTC was Rs. 48.5 lakhs per annum

The average CTC was Rs.18.76 lakhs per annum

The average CTC of top 10% of the batch was Rs. 34.77Lakhs per annum

The top 20% secured an average CTC of Rs.29.17 lakhs per annum

The top 50% of the batch secured an average CTC of Rs. 23.38 lakhs per annum

Based in CAT 2019, IIM Shillong and IIM Amritsar has released the cutoff list for admission into academic year 2020-22.
IIM AMRITSAR has 85 percentile as cut off for general category along with sectional cut offs. Furthermore, unlike other IIMs, IIM Shillong does not release the overall cutoff of CAT. With 82.92 percentile in CAT and as you have mentioned your academics and it is more than average and also your work experience will be beneficial for you,there are some chances that you will get call from these colleges.It all depends on the sectional cut off in all 3 sections of CAT.

You have secured a good academic record in 10th ,12th and graduation. After the declaration of the CAT result the merit list will be made  to call the candidate for the interview round and WAT Test. The merit list comprises of your CAT percentile, your graduation marks, your work experience, your 10th and 12th marks. To get into top MBA college like , IIM Ahmedabad you need to score above 99.7 percentile in CAT exam. As you have secured 95.97 percentile you will get call for MBA course from

IIM Udaipur, IIT kanpur, IIM Vishakapatnam, IIM Bodh gaya, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Jammu, IMI Delhi, IIM Shillong, IIT Madras, IMS BHU.

Once you get call from IIM or other institutes , you have to go through the WAT exam and interview process. On clearing both an another merit list will be prepared, which will select you to get enter IIM or other institutes.

Being a fresher it may be a little difficult to get a call from IIM Shillong with your CAT percentile. But you have pretty good academics so you can expect calls from the newer IIMs like IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Rohtak and others.

Well, if you see the admission criteria of IIM Shillong, it gives on 25% weightage to CAT Score and 40% weightage to Personal Appearance.

So, the shortlisting procedure is based on your previous performances which includes Work Experience, Good Academic profile, activities and interests in co curricular activities. So, you may expect calls from IIM Shillong with low percentile also as you reflect good backgrounds.

For admissions in IIM Shillong, the cut-off is 75 percentile. But, you must have scored the minimum required percentile in each of the sections for getting shortlisted. The minimum required percentile for each section for general category is as follows:

• VARC- 75
• DILR- 75
• QA- 75

These percentile are 50 in each section for backward categories.
Also, for a general category student, you must have 80% minimum score in 10th,12th and graduation.
For other categories,the minimum required percentage is 50-55% for 10,12, and graduation.

You will get shortlisted only is all the above mentioned criteria are satisfied. You will be notified by mail or SMS in the 2nd week of January 2020 if you get shortlisted.

IIM Shillong Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility criterion is relaxed to 45%

IIM Shillong has set a low minimum CAT 2019 percentile cut off at 7 5%ile sectional. There is no prescribed minimum overall CAT 2019 percentile required by IIM Shillong in its shortlisting criteria.

The actual CAT cut offs at IIM Shillong remain in the range of 94-95 percentile in the shortlisting process.

IIMS have a point based evaluation system . Your marks from 10th std to graduation will matter. They have a point system like if you get 75 % above in graduation then you will get 2 points , for above 60 to 75 % there is 1 point  , so they have a system like that . If your marks are good then you will have a better chance to get in IIMS . Also your Cat percentile with your personal interview and written ability test will matter .
