It is a university-level entrance exam conducted in online mode for shortlisting candidates into the undergraduate dual program in B.tech and MS course. The Masters degree requires completion of a research thesis. This program prepares students for research-oriented jobs and higher studies. The duration of the program is 5-years.

According to the official website the Application portal will To be Announced. But according to previous years registration may starts from 22Mar - 30Apr 2022 (Tentative). So it is expected that the registrations in  2022 will begin in the month of March .

The schedule for Under Graduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) 2022 conducted by IIIT, Hyderabad is not yet released. Last year the application process for UGEE had started from March 22, 2021 so this year the application process is expected to start in the month of March but as the official announcement is not yet made you have to wait until it is announced officially. The candidates who have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board are eligible to apply for UGEE conducted by IIIT, Hyderabad. The application fee is Rs. 2000. Please keep an eye on updates from time to time so that you can apply for the Entrance Examination when the application window opens. Yes in iiit hyderabad you can get admission using jee main rank as well as ugee which is conducted by iiit hyderabad itself but ugee is for 5yr programs and by jee main you get admission in 4yr programms

The UGEE mode is for admission to dual degree programmes. Graduates of the dual degree programmes earn two degrees: B.Tech and MS. The Masters degree requires completion of a research thesis. For getting into IIT Hyderabad, you must qualify both jee main and JEE advanced especially for btech course. Jee main and advanced are national level exam having syllabus of physics, chemistry and maths class11 and class12 with some competitive part. Both are conducted in online mode. Duration of jee main exam is 3 hour and that of JEE advanced is 6 hours. Once you qualify both exam with good score , you have to participate in josaa counselling.

You should be very clear on this front that iiit hyderabad strictly has no reservation criterion on any base like phc/pwd/bs etc as per the website the website clearly states that-"there is no SC/ST/BC, women, physically challenged etc. quota or reservation of any kind for IIIT admissions. All admissions are strictly merit based and in open category. "

If you have correctly written the rank 71886 then no chance whatsoever you should not even think of waiting for the cutoff lists and move ahead to look for some other college because its very difficult to get iiit hyderabad at 5000 rank also forget about getting it at a 5 digit rank you should look forward for some private colleges as cse even in nits would be improbabale.

All 3 are top institutions of india but the real fight of choosing is between nit trichy cse and iiit hyderabad ece if you are totally oriented towards cse then nit trichy is best go for it but if you can go with ece and want to innovate something then iiit hyderabad is good note that academic rigour is high in iiit hyderabad also placement wise nit trichy cse might be slight ahead so it depends on you and choose wisely.
