I THINK JIIT ONLY ACCEPTS COMMON RANK LIST AND DOES NOT ACCEPT CATEGORY WISE RANK.BUT YOU CAN GET A SEAT THERE EASILY IF YOUR RANK IS AROUND 1 LAKH ALSO. SO PROCEED FOR THE COUNCELLING CONFIDENTLY IF YOU HAVE A RANK AROUND THIS.

Biotech- 660730 (Closing rank)

CSE- 51072

In 2017,

Biotech- 401572

CSE- 58855

In 2016,

CSE- 60845

ECE- 129033

IT- 70792

According to previous year cutoffs, I think you will be able to get a branch in JIIT Noida easily.

Here's the detail list of cutoffs for various seats at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, in the year 2018: 

4-Year B.E./B.Tech. Course

• Information Technology 54986

5-Year Integrated M.Tech. Course

• Computer Science and Engineering 90480
• Electronics and Communication Engineering 170406

According to the previous trends, these cutoffs may decrease this year as well and you may get a chance for your desired seat. I advice you should give it a try but be open to other options as well.

JIIT Noida is a top brand college securing 88th rank according to NIRF ranking hence it's cutoff are pretty high. As you have scored 85 percentile your rank would be somewhere around 1,30,000. Whereas the cutoff of JIIT for all the branches closes below 1lakh . The cutoff for CSE closes at around 55,000. So you won't get admission here.

I think you canget CSE considering last year. Last year's cutoff for JIIT Noida campus for CSE was 62k and for ECE it was 80k. But last to lat it was around 45k.

So i think chances are pretty high to get CSE in Noida campus. IT is sure with this rank.

The mode of admission for Jaypee noida is as follow

One needs to take JEE (Main) exam and separately apply for JIIT counselling.

Admissions are on the basis of rank in JEE (Main).

For BioTechnology, 50% of the seats are filled on the basis of 10+2 marks merit.
