Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 19292.It can be calculated using the formula given below

(100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.So it is calculated as (100-97.78)*869010/100=19292And your category rank will be around 3k-5k.

In April session it is expected that 1200000 candidates are going to appear so your expected rank can be calculated a (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

In 2019 the cut off for NIT, Jhamshedpur for EWS category is as follows branch-wise.The ranks are opening and ranks respectively for home state candidates

Hi Shalu,

Its difficult to predict actual rank or JEE advanced qualify marks. you may calculate your expected rank by this formula

To Calculate the rank for B. Tech:
So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100

But Your predicted JEE Main AIR rank for 2020 is
61474-64710.

At this Score or Rank your Chances To get NIT Jamshedpur are very less.

I hope you will increase your nta score in April and take admissions in nit or iit

Hope this helps! All The Best!!

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries

Hi dear,

You have got 88.913 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 96347. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

You sc category rank will be around 3k-3500. You will get a seat in NIT Jamshedpur. You have to mention your state for information about branch.

Hope it helps.

Hi dear hope you are doing really well. To get admission in NIT jamshedpur you at least have to score 95.5 percentile and above so that you can get admission in a good branch at least. so if you are not scored this percentile in January attempt at 24 April at end and work hard. Hope this will help you good luck.

Haider hope you are doing well as you have  not mention your category here then  assuming as you as a general category student then you are not eligible for getting admission into NIT Jamshedpur with 90percentile. You have to secure at least 98 percentile to get admission into NIT Jamshedpur with good branch
Hope this will help you good luck

hi dear hope you are doing well you have not mention your category here assuming you as a general category student 85 percentile in JEE mains will be difficult for you to get admission into NIT Jamshedpur computer science branch for getting computer science Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur you must have 99. 84 percentile atleast. NIT Jamshedpur computer science Engineering is in now a day very demandful.

HELLO KUNWAR;

congratulations for your result and qualifying JEE MAINS;

Your expected rank according to your present percentile of january attempt comes out to be 19465. it is difficult to calculate the exact. This rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april based exam.

ill give you the possibilities based on previous year cutoffs of both home as well as other state for EWS category

2019;

Quota Branch name Open Close
HS Computer Science and Engineering 1717 1717
OS Computer Science and Engineering 887 896

2018: (general cateogery) since ews cat was introduced in 2019

HS Computer Science and Engineering 5889 11888
OS Computer Science and Engineering 4855 8134

as you can see that this percentile is not sufficient to get into this institute. BUt do not worry you still have your april attempt left and jee advance too you might get into IIT so do not lose hope at all.

If you are curious to know about which college you might land into with this percentile then we have a software called as college predictor which will tell you the college based on your percentile,category, etc the li8nk is given down below;

BEST OF LUCK FOR APRIL AND ADVANCE!!!

Scoring 94.33 in JEE Mains is appreciable but that percentile may not be sufficient to get admitted in NIT Jamshedpur though you belong to OBC category. You need to score 97 and above percentile to get seat.

Wishing you a good luck!
