Hello Harika
You should go with Nit Silchar because it has a better rating and ranking as compared to IIIT,Nit has a better infrastructure and facilities and is more older than IIIT so doing Civil from there will be better and even Civil Engineering has evergrowing industry buildings are always being constructed and that will never stop, the fees in NIT is INR 5.5 lakhs for 4 years and for IIIT it is INR 7.5 lakhs for 4 years, the average salary in NIT is INR 6.5 lakhs per annum for Civil and for IIIT it is INR 3 lakhsper annum for ECE.
Hope this helps you

Good Luck!!
I believe NIT Patna will be a better choice than NIT Silchar as far as Mechanical Engineering is concerned. Located near Industrial Hubs at Jharkhand, UP and Odisha further provides impetus to training and placement opportunities. Companies like Tata Motors, TVS, Tata Hitachi, Cummins Pune, L&T, IOCL, Vedanta are regular recruiters at NIT Patna Mechanical and the branch experiences almost 80% placements each year.
Secondly being one of the older technical institutes with a strong alumini base, good infrastructure and laboratory facilities, excellent Faculties as well as outlook, it provides good Engineering Education.

The hostel experience was nice, with timely breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, the mobile network was very poor in the hostel room and sometimes lan did not work properly. classrooms are in pretty good condition in new gallery classroom. for civil laboratories, the equipment was not maintain properly.
We have proper Wi-Fi, labs are up to the mark and need improvement. Classroom are good and have proper functional A. C. We have regular labs going on. Library is quite good and books are there too. Quality of food has been improved. There are no medical facilities available in hostel you need to visit to the outer medical stores or hospital. There are not enough grounds for sports.
My college is having a very beautiful campus, it just looks very amazing. The hostel facilities when I was in the college were ok. Else the wifi is all over in the campus. Also their are labs in almost all the sems for electrical branch students.
