NLU Odisha Facilities

National Law University Odisha campus is spread over 50 acres, it is designed as an eco-friendly campus while providing ample facilities to the students. NLU Odisha facilities include a fully air-conditioned academic block, separate hostels for boys and girls, a food court, a gym and other sports facilities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis court and indoor games for the students to get them involved in physical activities.

Boys Hostel
NLU Odisha, Cuttack provides good hostel accommodation and facilities for the boys. Boys hostel contains a single sharing room, wifi and indoor sports such as table tennis, Chess, Carrom boards, gym, and mess and facilities available for the students.
Girls Hostel
NLU Odisha is a residential campus, hostel accommodation and facilities available for students in various levels. NLUO is providing a single sharing room, indoor games, mess-food, housekeeping, wifi and medical facilities for female students in the campus.
Medical/Hospital
NLU Odisha facilities include a medical centre to provide medical assistance to students, staff and faculty members.
Gym
NLU Odisha Cuttack has a gym inside the campus premises with all the necessary equipment. Students can make use of the gym facilities to stay fit and healthy.
Library
NLU Odisha library has a large collection of well-informative and detailed law related updated books, journals and many e-resources to ensure the availability of high research resources. Library has two sections for books and Journals; the book section has more than 15000 volumes of different subjects. Journal section contains Bare Acts, periodical legal and non-legal journals, magazines, and papers.
Sports
The NLU Odisha sports facilities include outdoor and indoor games like football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, tennis, carrom, chess and many more for students, faculty and staff to keep students in good physical health and give fun.

College Infrastructure

It has greatly developed as it currently houses one of the largest law library in the country. Adequate facilities with respect to sports and recreation area also made available to students along with good hygienic food

College infrastructure is improving slowly. The library is finally functional. The hostels are spacious, you get single rooms which is a great thing. Overall the college is pretty but needs a lot of development.

Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. It has everything a class needs. It maintains a good hygiene and cleanliness. The foods are having great taste and are properly cooked.

Based on the previous year analysis.. According to your CLAT PG Rank and category, you don't have any chances to get a seat in any of the National Law University.

You better prepare and appear next year to score better to get admission in the best National Law University.

What type of OBC certificate is required for admission in an NLU through CLAT exam i.e. State OBC NCL or Central OBC NCL?

Hello,

For admission to an NLU through the CLAT exam under the OBC category, the following points clarify the type of OBC certificate required:

Central OBC-NCL Certificate :
- The candidate must possess a Central OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate.
- This is because the NLUs follow reservations as per the Central Government norms for OBC candidates.
State OBC-NCL Certificate :
- A State OBC-NCL certificate may not be valid unless the candidate's caste is also listed in the Central OBC list .
- Check whether your caste is recognized in the Central OBC list for your state.
Validity :
- Ensure the certificate is valid on the date of admission and covers the financial year of application.
Format :
- Obtain the certificate in the prescribed format available on the official CLAT website or as per Central Government guidelines.

My OBC categroy rank is 4700 in clat and i am from kerala. So is there any chance to get into nlu kochi (kerala)

From total seats offered at all NLUs , reservation is provided to different categories including OBC, SC ,ST , PWD etc. with OBC rank 4700 and home state domicile of Kerela,you have chances to get a seat in NLU Kochi.
