The faculty of ECE, have a broad industrial technical knowledge which would definitely help a student to understand the practicalities of the technologies used in the current world.

The department provides a lot of internship opportunities both international and domestic.

A wide range of research is happening in the department. This helps the students to explore and understand the technicalities and realities of research and also helps him/her in authoring his/her own technical paper.

HuT (Humanitarian Technology) Labs, a research lab, provides keen support to student projects.

You can nurture both your managerial and technical skills by joining in the IEEE Student Branch. Our IEEE student branch was awarded as one of the best student branches both in India and Kerala several times. You can get a chance to attend and organize a lot of events under IEEE.

Both the colleges accept GATE scores for admission to M.Tech courses.

Both Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra (SMVDU) and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (UPTU or AKTU) are government universities approved by UGC. As per Careers360 rating system, both AKTU and SMVDU have Above Average ratings.

Yes, You can change your engineering stream after completion of 1st year.

But for that your percentage should be good and there should be vacany in your expected transfer group.

           The total number of seats available in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for the B.ARCH course is 30-40 seats in which 3 seats are reserved for international students.
