BCARE Institute of Management and Technology, Berhampore Admission Process
BCARE Institute of Management and Technology, Berhampore, is a constituent college of Murshidabad district in West Bengal, providing diploma courses in various streams of engineering. The institute selects appropriate candidates through its admission procedure for its technical programs. BCARE has a well-planned approach towards the admission process mainly through entrance tests held by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD).
For entry into first-year diploma courses, the applicants are required to appear for Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal (JEXPO). JEXPO is the primary means of student selection. JEXPO usually takes place every year, and the date is notified by the WBSCTVESD. Applicants who succeed through the JEXPO become eligible to be enrolled into BCARE Institute of Management and Technology.
Apart from the first-year intake, BCARE also provides second-year direct intake to diploma programmes. For that, the contenders must sit in the Vocational Lateral Entry Test (VOCLET), which is held by WBSCTVESD. It suits students with diplomas in comparable vocational courses as well as candidates with pre-tech education.
