CIT Kolkata Admission Process

CIT Madhyamgram conducts its admission process in online mode. The institute offers various undergraduate and diploma courses in engineering for admissions. For admissions in undergraduate engineering courses, candidates must have appeared for WBJEE or JEE Main entrance exam. Apart from that, candidates are also required to score minimum 45% marks in their class 12 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admissions to diploma courses at CIT Madhyamgram, candidates must have appeared for the JEXPO entrance exam. Also, candidates must secure minimum 35% aggregate marks in their class 10. Candidates with minimum 45% aggregate marks in their class 10 are eligible for direct admissions.

Appear for JEXPO entrance exam,
Apply for the admissions through the website of the institute.
Submit your JEXPO exam at the time of application.
The institute will prepare a merit list based on the marks of candidates in the qualifying examination.
Candidates will be called for counselling based on their merit ranks.
