Among the 3 mentioned universities GCETTS do not have that good placement opportunities in comparing to the other two.

GCELT gets good placement opportunities as 80% students get the placement opportunities with highest salary of 7 lakhs PA and also 90% of students get placed with internship opportunities as well.

GCECT is definitely the best with placement opportunities as it gets students placed with top Multi National companies such as Accenture, Wipro, TCS, IBM, etc with highest salary packages of 7-8 lakhs PA

see government college of engineering and leather technology situated in at beleghata kolkata comes under one of the renowned government institute. the placement statistics, college infrastructure, location, facilities for students is excellent. the major recruiter for CSE/ IT is tcs, byjus, wipro,, cts. average salary offered is 3.5 lpa. see college provide the quality education and every year many of the candidates qualified for gate exam, wich is the gate way exam for m.tech and job in public sector undertakings.

so if you want to complete b.tech from government institute, this college is best as per students review.

In most of the colleges, the regular classes don't start after the given date of commencement, there are things like an introduction and orientations happening in the first week of college. But it is not the scenario of all the colleges, some colleges start the classes from the first day. If you for any reason don't attend the classes for the first week the basics of all the subjects will be lost but you can easily cover that by yourself.

The placement percentage for computer science and engineering department is quiet good in GCELT(Government college of engineering and leather technology).The average salary of a students belonging to Computer science department ranges between 3.7 lakhs per annum to 4.2 lakhs per annum.the highest salary recieved by any student is approxmiately 8 lakhs per annum.

there are a number of companies which visit the college to recruit the students.

First of all ypu need to confirm with your college whether they provide transportation facility. If they don't, then you need to use the public transportation facilities instead or your something of your personal convenience. And if they do, then you need to register with them for the same. By doing so, you will be enrolled for the transportation facility. Later you will come to know from them about the place for picking and dropping you off and timings for the same. Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology,Kolkata timings

Six days a week curricular programs is followed with Saturday as half working day. Classes commence from 10:30 hrs and continue up to 17:30 (5:30) hrs officially. But students and faculties can stay back beyond official work schedule at the interface of extended laboratory classes, project work and other R&D works.
