GCELT Kolkata B.Tech Admission Procedure

• Students need to appear for the entrance examination - the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main.

• The candidates need to register for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board  WBJEEB counselling. In counselling, they have to give first preference to the Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology, Kolkata.

• The candidates will be called for the counselling based on their scores in the entrance examinations.

• The merit list will be prepared accordingly with the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in WBJEE/JEE Main 

• For lateral entry, the scores of the JELET examination are required.

• Final admission will be offered based on choice filling, choice locking, document verification, and fee payment.
