HMCE Kalyani Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a central library, HMCE started operating in the year 2014 with the establishment of the Hemnalini Memorial College of Engineering, Haringhata. Since then it has grown in the content of books. Large reading room located on the first floor of the building reduction of external noise. The college has sports facilities for all students The Institute provides spacious facilities for Indoor Games such as Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess separately for boys and girls. Indoor games tournament is organized annually to encourage students to participate in such events Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Soccer, Kabaddi, Badminton.

The College has a Computer Centre which caters to the specialized computational needs of the academic community, the department has its own computing facilities for faculty Staff and students of the department. These include A Linux lab having 20 high-end desktops with remote access facility; A Windows lab having 20 high-end desktops with remote access facility; Advanced GPU and non-GPU workstations; Separate UPS' for network racks and switches.

The College's first of its kind, the Language Laboratory, installed by CACM, STEP, and IIT Kharagpur links multi-user Interactive Software Integrated Learning System (ISILS). This makes content delivery and interactive setup development with digitized content on language and communication skill development smoother. The ever-expanding bank of books, CDs, DVDs, and more which deal with English Speech and Communication contributes to personality development.

The College facilitates hygienic and nutritious food at reasonably priced merchandise and services essential to their comfort and well-being. To ensure the smooth and proper functioning of the canteen and housekeeping on daily basis. The cell plans, control, and evaluate the needs of the canteen for achieving long and short terms goals The cell should make every effort to make sure that wastage of food is reduced to a minimum The cell should ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, and aesthetics of the college premises.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The institute runs the boys hostel in tie-up having a total accommodation of 100 students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The institute runs the girl's hostel in tie-up having a total accommodation of 110 students.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities.

The college also provides Training and placement opportunities for all the students,
