National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), Ranchi placement cell conductes placement drives with top companies for its final year degree students. During NIFFT Ranchi placements 2024, the average package offered was Rs 7.4 LPA.

NIFFT Ranchi's highest package for the 2024 B.Tech placements includes an international CTC of Rs 15 LPA and a domestic CTC of Rs 13.95 LPA. As per the NIRF data 2024, 146 students secured placements during the year 2022-2023 with an NIFFT Ranchi average package of Rs. 8.80 LPA for UG graduates and Rs. 4.60 LPA for PG graduates.

The NIFFT placement cell aims at building up the skills of students and assists them to be of value to a company or industry in the future. NIFFT Ranchi has had an overall placement rate of 85% in the past decades. Placement is quite good when compared to any tier 3 NIT . In my college, mechanical and metallurgy branch placement is 100 percent because many of our senior are present in many companies and those companies are recruiting companies of our college.

How is nifft ranchi for girls in metallurgy branch ?? iIs it good or bad ??

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you.It is good for girls as well. The college has good placement records. Average Package offered is 4.50lakhs. you may have heard about the girl named Jaya Gupta, final year student of B.tech Metallurgical Engineering from nifft ranchi who has become national topper in metallurgy in gate exam. Faculty is very supportive and helping. It is one of the best option.
