Placement for both the institutes are same in an average which is 5-6 lakhs.  They bring lots  of companies and even startups where students gets lots of chance to improve and utilize own skill set but  getting a job is difficult if a student doesn't have skills and there college holds no responsibility. This is the reality.

Apart from placement, you can look for learning environment. That is important as a students should get good facilities and faculties to help out when he/she faces a problem. It not only for studies there are many extracurricular activities are also organized. being able to coordination and good cooperation is also needed.

Apart from that, you should have to choose which one will be comfortable for you and to your family also. On the part of placements, you can also try offcampus if you have skills, you will surely get a job easily. Companies looks for skills only nothing else.

Hi, you can join LPU which is better than another private university whereas one of my friends also did his graduation from LPU now he is in good company with a handsome salary package. 

LPU provides quality education as well as the placements to the students so better to go for LPU where you will get a lot of knowledge and other exposures.

IPU is better than Chitkara University in terma of placements, administration and infrastructure. There faculties are also good

Chitkara university Himachal Pradesh has a rating of 4.2 out of 5.

Highest salary package is around 11-12 lacs per annum and average package is around 6-7 lacs per annum.Companies like Wipro,Google,Uber,Ola visits the college for placement.

Chitkara University is better than other college because Chitkara University is best known for placement.There are 180+ ties with international universities as well with campus 
placements there has been tremendous response from corporate world with number of companies visiting CU campus for recruitments. Top companies like Google, Microsoft also visit the campus. So, I think that Chitkara University is better for placement than other one.

           By comparing with all the factors, you can consider Thapar University, Patiala is far better than Chitkara University, Rajpura for the branch of Civil Engineering. The infrastructure, placement record, fooding and lodging quality, Labs, Faculties are far better in Thapar.

Both the colleges are good in terms of placement facility, infrastructure and faculty. In chitkara university almost 90% of the student got placement and in manglore institute of technology and engineering 75-80% student got placement. Infrastructure of both the colleges is very good. Overall both the colleges are good.

Further, based on your query if you are looking forward to take admission in B.Tech college then based on your 12th percentage I'll suggest you to take admission in the State University of Delhi or the  B.Tech colleges of Delhi NCR as,as compared  to Chitkara University they will have better job opportunities and career options .
