ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings)
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
If you are not from Kerala, then you must receive up to 60 percent of the possible points. The main campus of Cusat is located in the city's major district, kochi, while the other campus is located in a rural location there. If your rank falls below 2000, you will be admitted to the main campus; otherwise, you will be admitted to the second campus. I would advise you to enrol in any branch on the main campus if you are interested in cusat. Therefore, if you want to study a good branch like cse or safety, you must score more than 75 percent in order to get admitted to the main campus.
Marks in 2014 was around 250–260 rank:1257
Marks in 2015 was around 420–430 rank :150
The scores mentioned above were calculated as per the answer keys published by CUSAT, Both the ranks were in General category.
Also, there are two campuses. Depending on which one you like, For admission to the first campus, your rank must be between 1000 and 1200–1300. However, the variations are more pronounced on the second campus. Sometimes it reaches a rank of 5000–6000, while other times it stays at 2500–3000. Attending an admission round on the spot will improve your chances.

Hi,
CUSAT CAT is an easy entrance exam to crack when compared to KEAM and JEE. CUSAT CAT contains 250 MCQ questions to be finished in 3 hours. So it is somewhat difficult to do all the 250 questions within the time. Just attend easy questions first and if there is still time left after you have finished the easy ones, you can spend it to do the difficult ones.
Candidates looking for best books for CUSAT CAT preparation can go through this section. There can be "n" number of CUSAT CAT study materials but candidates should try to follow only genuine and authentic sources. Also, they should try to keep limited sources that can be revised easily. Other than self-made notes, following is the list of CUSAT CAT best books for preparation:
Previous year's question papers are there in the CUSAT website. Just go and refer it.
Hope this helps.
ALL THE BEST.
Hi,
Well, It's obvious you can't .
But if you are not a citizen of India then you may get admission under Foreigner Quota.
For getting admission in CUSAT, it's compulsory for everyone to give the CAT because the roll number generated at the time of registration and the rank which you will score will be the primary identity for you.
The CUSAT CAT is the normal channel for admission to most programmes in CUSAT. But in the case of the new Integrated MSc programmes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Statistics, preference will be given to students possessing KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) scholarship. They do not have to appear for CAT, but they have to apply for CAT through online and should pay the application fee.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Our college infrastructure is a blend of modernity and serenity! The campus features sleek buildings, futuristic labs, and vast libraries. Students enjoy state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced research equipment and digital resources. The peaceful surroundings, lush greenery, and amenities like sports facilities and cafeteria create a harmonious learning environment. CUSAT's infrastructure perfectly balances academics and comfort, making it an attractive choice for students seeking a well-rounded education.
where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel I would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat The college does not have its boys hostel it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 90,000 to hostels.
Most of facilities are good except the Wi-Fi system…Wi-Fi quality is not good.. Class rooms are well maintained and hygienic…if we talk about hostel ,hostel infrastructure is good but food is not good and during may -July it’s too hot so , only fan is nớt enough !
