The HPTU Hamirpur placement cell helps in conducting placement of the final year students. Himachal Pradesh Technical University placement is conducted every year. The university placement may be conducted on-campus or off-campus. For on-campus placement, several companies are invited for the recruitment of the candidates. Before the placement of the candidates, the HPTU Hamirpur placement cell conducts various activities to prepare the candidates. • Companies are invited to the campus for the recruitment of the candidates and pre-placement talk is initiated.

• After that, students go through the interview process of the companies, which may involve aptitude tests, group discussions, and interview, etc. 

• Selected candidates are informed through the HPTU Hamirpur placement cell.
