I want to start by saying that you choose branch above college. Consequently, whether you are pursuing CSE or IT at any IIIT. Try it out.

It is difficult to pick between these two universities given that you are asking for mechanical at IIIT Jabalpur and IT at IIIT Bhopal. However, since both of these colleges are among the best IIITs and both offer excellent placements, I would advise you to attend IT at IIIT Bhopal.

MACT, the previous name of NIT Bhopal, was founded in 1960 and changed to NIT Bhopal in 2002. Currently, it has well-established faculties, laboratories, classrooms, lodging, etc. When compared to IIIT Bhopal, the teaching and research quality is likewise quite good. It now occupies the 55th spot among Indian universities.

Since IIIT Bhopal was founded in 2017 and is now housed on the RGPV campus, there is no private campus, no visiting faculty, no labs, and no research activity. Manit Bhopal, the institute's mentor, is also a man.

Therefore, the choice of institution is entirely up to you, friend.

Unfortunately if your EWS category rank is 35k let me tell you that it is not possible for you to get cse branch in these colleges because the colleges that you have mentioned are one of the top colleges through jac counselling.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

IIT Bhopal is a very good college when it comes to placements and they breaking their own records year after year. Here are the average package branch wise:

ESE: The average package is 8.28 LPA

CSE: The average package is 7.71 LPA

IT: The average package is 9.30 LPA

The highest package offered was 16 LPA

IIIT Bhopal is a completely new college, so judging it immediately is not an easy task. But, JNTU Anantapur is a good college for the ECE branch too. Although, the placement in this branch is good. Comparatively, focusing on placements for now, you should choose JNTU Anantapur. But if you want to go to an IIIT, then you should choose IIIT Bhopal because there will be companies visiting this college for placement, as it is totally new, so commenting on the placement and package is difficult.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that in placement prospect both the colleges have almost same placement statistics and have good alumni network due to which many product based companies come every year but if you want to have exposure, college life , good infrastructure and coding culure then IIIT bhopal will be a better option for you

If you would take return on investment factor then absolutely bit sindri will be a better investment because on investing 2.5L you would atleast get a package of 4-5L per annum. You can even get more.

On the other hand, iiit una and iiit bhopal are newer iiits as compared to the other iiits like nagpur. And iiit nagpur has better outreach and placements as compared to the other iiits .

So, I would recommend you to go as per your conditions as it is you who has to select a college between these two.

IIIT Bhopal was established in the year 2017, currently, it is functioning under Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. It is recognized as an Autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament.

The B.Tech programs at IIIT Bhopal under the mentorship of MANIT Bhopal are among the best technical programs running across India. However, IIIT Bhopal conducts its own placement drive.

Dear applicant, IIIT Bhopal is a good college, however if you think of the placements, it is good but may not be best. As a fresher you can expect salary packages starting from 3-4 LPA. But for ECE branch, as you will gain experience your salary package will keep on rising. The highest Salary Package that you can expect can be 10-12 LPA.
