If you want to decide amongst IIIT PUNE and IIIT SURAT, kindly mention the course you’re looking into.

Still i will give you some insight based on the reviews and rank of the colleges.

IIIT surat has a higher JEE mains cut off than IIIT Pune. Also the fees of IIIT surat is very less than IIIT pune. There is a difference of around 2-2.5lakhs. The reviews of IIIT surat are also much better than IIIT pune. It is known to have very good faculty, infrastructure and facilities. The placement facilities are also good. Every year students are placed at good packages.

The only drawback at IIIT surat is that there is no hostel.

IIIT Pune is much better than other newly opened IIITs. What makes IIIT Pune stand apart is that it doesn't operate inside its mentor college's campus hence has its own faculty. Various events and workshops are held by the institute to enhance student's skills.

RVCE has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The average salary offered is 14+LPA. The students of RCVE have been recruited by some of the world's leading corporate which are- Accenture, Samsung India, Adobe Systems, Adani Groups, LinkedIn, Amazon, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited, TATA, Myntra etc.

So, you can choose accordingly as per your requirement.

As per the ranks vs percentile analysis, you have scored around 81-90 marks and with this you might have secured rank somewhere between 60147 - 48371, considering you as a general category candidate. And as per the previosu yeras records, you have no decent chances to get admission in IIIT surat. I believe being from OBC Category and studying at a National Institute like IIIT Surat, the institute will have some Merit cum Means scholarship scheme at par with Other IITs, NITs and IIITs. It is by far the best, most consistent and easily available scholarship scheme.

As far as B.Tech  in CSE is concerned, according to me and many other reviews by the students themselves, IIIT Surat is definitely a better choice than IIIT bhubaneswar, although IIIT Surat is comparatively newer.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

CS branch is good here. The total fees for whole course is around 8.51 lakhs. Placements are nice here. The highest salary package of 9 LPA was offered to three students, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. One of the students got a salary package of 20 LPA off-campus.

In IIIT Surat the fees for CSE course is around 5.65 lakhs. Placements are average. The salary package offered is around 6 LPA-10 LPA. Infrastructure is good otherwise.

Overall IIIT Nagpur is better then IIIT Surat in terms of placements .

IIIT Surat is one of the latest IIITs that began to run in 2017. Its first class has not yet graduated, so we don't have the placement figures.

• Placements: Because there is no batch in the final year yet, no one has been put. But the preparation and placement cell operates very well. As far as I know, 2nd & 3rd year students earned internships in Adobe according to students review.
• Infrastructure: The hostel and other services are provided by the SVNIT. Library, classroom, laboratories and high-speed Wi-Fi are also available for students. Each student will get his or her unique Wi-Fi login ID. Laboratories are also shared with SVNIT. There is also a sports ground available. Campus is fine.
• Faculty : The IIIT Surat course is much better than the NIT or any state college. You may refer to it on its official website. Some of the faculty members are from NIT Surat, while others are from IIIT. Subjects such as environmental science and engineering drawing, which are not of use to ECE and CSE students, should be omitted from the course in order to enhance it.

If you don't have any other option in other IITs, IIITs, then you should go ahead with this one.
