Core branches are always demanding in nature so you will have to work hard in core branches. Coming to the comparison  you mentioned i would suggest you too go ahead with iit roorkee ece as ece is a branch that is related to it industry hence better placement scenarios are there whereas ee is a core branch and placements are not as great as ece comparing both the colleges iitkgp and iitr so there is nothing separating them they are both masters of their domain the only deciding factor maybe the branch in which iitr ece might win so choose wisely.

Hope you are doing well. Coming to your question, a lot depends on your interests and strengths.  Both the colleges are equally good and provide exposure to students. If you have an inclination towards IT sector and want to pursue a career there you can go for CS at IIT KHARAGPUR. But if you want to go for some other opportunity in some other field then go for IIT BOMBAY.  Do not just take up the college or Branch just because the world is doing sure. Make a choice for yourself and know your interests.

In terms of placements, CSE branch is best of all the other branches . I would suggest you prefer branch to college, as you have to study for 4 yrs . IIT tag is not everything , At the end, placement matters . Vnit Cse is better than biotechnology at IIT Kharagpur. There is less scope in biotechnology .Without giving a second thought, go for Vnit .

Category and the branch are crucial details required to predict the score and rank based on previous years cutoffs. Every year cutoffs will change based on several factors and cutoffs will be different for different branches. You have to score high to get a seat in IIT kharagpur.

IITs are well known for their excellent academics, well equipped laboratories and highly qualified faculty. It also offers diverse opportunities for job placements.

Here you asked about IIT Jammu in Electrical Engineering and IIT KGP Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture. Both are different streams, so the choice should be based on your interest towards particular stream. IIT Kharagpur is the oldest IIT in India. The college offers the course M.Sc Mathematics and Computing Integrated is a 5 years integrated program which have 69 seats. The admission to the course is provided on the basis of JEE Advanced . The course have quite a good demand and the placements rates are quite good.
