If you are seeking the comparison from the view of placements then IIT Guwahati with M.Tech in Communication engineering will have slight higher edge because placement percentage and average package offered is little higher than that of M.Tech in RF and Microwave engineering. So, if they have some willing students who can get and buy this course, then for this you should contact them.

As per the eligibility criteria of IES candidate need to pass  postgraduate degree in economics/applied economics/econometrics/business economics from a recognized university, the age limit is 21 years to 30 years, relaxation is provided for reserved categories, candidates in their final year are also eligible to apply on provisional basis, so yes you're eligible to appear for IES with integrated MSc Economics, check out this year official notification at https://www.upsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/Notif-IESISS-2021-Engl-070421.pdf

Despite you have finally submitted your application form, there is a possibility that you may able to do correction in your application form. You can try this thing-

1.Login into your account, and kindly look for the Unfreeze Application option

2. Once you click the Unfreeze Application option, your application will be treated as Draft or Un-submitted Application. Then you can make whatever changes you want in your Application.

3. Be careful your application will be considered for further proceedings unti/unless you don't submit you Application finally. Even if you have paid the fees already then also your application will not be considered until you finally submit it after correction. I hope it will help.

IIT BHU-24 march starting date of registration  and 20th May end date of registration

IIT ROORKEE-2nd week of march and 1st week of April is end of registration

IIT Guwahti-data not available or registration may be started or start in April month

IIT KHARAGPUR-application forms will be available in April month and end month of registration is June

There's nothing like preparatory course or something like that offered by IIT Kharagpur or any other IIT.

At UG level IIT Kharagpur , offers only courses like BTech in civil engineering ,BTech in computer Science Engineering, BTech in electrical engineering etc .

Now that you are in top 20 percentile of your board examination you are eligible for taking admission in IIT Kharagpur or any of the IITs .

Now for taking admission in BTech in IIT khadakpur or any other IIT, you need to first qualify JEE mains and then appear for JEE advanced examination and qualifiy it as admission in IIT Kharagpur or any of the IITs is through JEE advanced examination only.

If you want to do Dual Degree then you must have passed your 10+2 with more than 75% marks and if you can qualify JEE Mains and Advanced then you can do a Dual degree programme but in this case there will be no use of your Diploma in the entrance.

Also if you want to know an alternative way. Then you can go for Lateral entry exam after your Diploma and take admission in BTech. After completing BTech then you can sit for GATE exam through which you can get into IIT for MTech. In the lateral Entry examination you will be admitted in the 2nd year of BTech directly.
