Hey there! I'm glad you reached out. I'd be happy to help clear up any confusion about these colleges:
JSS College of Engineering and SJCE (Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering) are actually two different institutions, even though their names sound pretty similar.
JSS College of Engineering is in Mysuru, Karnataka. It's run by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha.
SJCE, on the other hand, is also in Mysuru but it's part of the JSS Science and Technology University. It used to be affiliated with the University of Mysore, but now it's an autonomous institution.
So while both are engineering colleges in Mysuru with similar-sounding names, they're separate schools. Hope that clears things up! Let me know if you have any other questions about these colleges or anything else related to engineering education.
Have a look at our

Hello Aspirant,
With this rank you have chances to get CSE in many colleges. Getting a seat will depend on various factors such as number of students applied for the same branch, performance of the students, category of the students, home state etc.
You have secured a good rank. You have chances to get a seat in Computer science branch in SJCE College. As per previous year's information cutoff for CSE branch is 5900.

Hello aspirant!
Since you have not mentioned the name of any exam, I am assuming that you are referring to either KCET or COMEDK. Here I am providing the cut off for General merit category (at the end of round 2).
SJCE, Mysore cut-offs for CSE:
NIE, Mysore cut-offs for CSE:
So with your rank, it is difficult to get CSE in either of the two colleges. But no need to worry because there are several other colleges in which you will be able to secure a seat in CSE.
You can use the KCET and COMEDK college predictor tools linked below to know which colleges you might get into.

Hello,
You haven' t mentioned your category, the cut off is different for each category, institute and branch. Assuming that you belong to general category you do not have chances to get seat in Computer Science Engineering in JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore. Last year in round 2 of KCET counselling a candidate with rank 2030 secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore. As your rank is above 2030 you do not have chances to get seat.
Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off click use the link given below

Hello,
The marks scored by you is decent one and also the both colleges which you have mentioned are some of the best colleges and also Government institution so this all makes the cutoffs quite high but definitely you can check your marks with the cutoffs of colleges and easily compare your chance of securing admission and also you can keep more options of colleges so that at the end you land up in any of the best college.
Thank you..
Infrastructure is very good but the large batch size is putting a constraint. Some boys may be alloted the CDL campus which is about 10-15 mins of distance. This is because all the batches can't be accomodated in the main campus. Mess food is very good if compared to a lot of colleges
The college infrastructure is good and it has got all the necessary facilities and equipment . The facilities here are very satisfactory may it be classroom, library centres, hostel and even the laboratories for that matter. Everything is too good.
The college infrastructure is not so good but they have maintained hostels for both boys and girls. They provided WiFi and computer lab facilities for students to engage in class. They also provided every classroom with hygiene.
