Since iisc is a science institute , there generally iisc student prefer to go for research field there fore placement of iisc is not that level of IITs although it's good. Average package ir around 8-10 lacks and in software and super computer department (CAD) package will go up to 2-3 crore
The placements is very good but most of the students go for higher studies rather than sitting in placements.But those who sit for placements get their job.The highest package is of 40 Lpa in Bsc and they also help students to do Internships .
Teacher qualifications are impressive. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders and very experienced. Exams are conducted very strictly, and you can get good marks if you study from the first day. The pass percentage is 40%. We will have two internals and one end-of-semester exam. Exams are challenging to pass, but they teach us in an understanding way so we can succeed. Last year, the passing rate was 64%.

To apply for IISC , the basic Eligibility is that you should have studied atleast three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics in class 12th and must have obtained above 55% marks.
