The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. (Forensic Sciences) is p assed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or NEET . https://www.lpu.in/programmes/bsc-forensic-science

LPUNEST is LPU's entrance exam. The last of admission is 30th June 2019.

Dear friend, the Supreme Court has ruled in the famous Bharathidasan University versus AICTE case that it is not obligatory for a university, created under an Act of a competent legislature, to seek and secure prior approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to start a department for imparting a course or programme in technical education or a technical institution as an adjunct to the university itself to conduct technical courses of its choice and selection.What it means is that the AICTE Act,1987 is applicable only to 'technical institutions' and universities are not ' technical institutions', excluding them from the purview of the AICTE Act. So, all the universities whether govt.like DU, JNU etc or private like LPU, SMU etc just need UGC approval that they have, not AICTE approval.

So, you can go ahead with your admission in LPU.

If you are able to make a good profile over their, you might not even need to sit in placement drives as many recruiter will contact you directly from their based on your skill set.
