With this percentile in JEE Main, you AIR will be around 2 lakhs. With this rank, you have negligible chances of getting CSE or ECE at NIT rourkela. CSE cutoff for NIT rourkela is around 5000 Rank for other state candidates and it is around 10k for Home state candidates. And similar are the cutoffs for ECE.

You may also not get CSE or ECE at any of the top NITs, either you should try for other branches at NITs or some other Institutes.

I think you have graduated on bachelor of  dental surgery, see the eligibility criteria for mba in nit rourkela is candidates must have studies B. Tech. or B.E. or B. Arch. (with mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII), or four year degree programme leading to B. Sc. Engineering (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG programme), or four year degree programme leading to Bachelor of Science degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG programme), or Master of Science ( with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG programme), or Master of Arts in Economics (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG Programme) with aggregate of 65% or a CPI of 6.5 on a scale of 10 from any AICTE recognised institute. since you are from health science discipline and not having mathematics as a subject in graduation level makes you not eligible for the course. also admission is based on CAT score followed by GD and PI rounds.

With this rank , you cannot get a seat in NIT Rourkela. For example,  last year a rank of 10531was required for OBC category for electrical engineering under home state quota in NIT Rourkela

So , to get into NIT Roar Gila you need to get around 98.5 to 99 percentile in your JEE mains July session i.e around 170-180 marks

To prepare well for july session , follow the below tips:-

Go through your syllabus  completing each chapter , you should go through mcqs and numericals of the same chapter

Make short notes of important formulas and concepts for each chapter and Keep revising it

Solve previous year JEE MAINS questions , it will let you know the examination pattern, type question etc so that you can prepare accordingly

Go through JEE MAINS mock test papers , it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination

Since you mentioned any branch I am considering food processing engineering as this branch has the least cutoff .  57k was closing rank for admission in spot round 2 privious year and for this you must have percentile more than 95 .

But percentile , ranks and cutoff can change every year based on number of students and difficulty level of question papers . But if you want to have a secure seat in this NIT you must score more than 96 percentile to be in safe zone .

Yes you can. If the Software Engineering Comes Under Computer Department then yes you can easily apply for that.

But, you must be having that particular GATE score to apply for. One more thing, there is no such Interview or Written Exams like in IIt's for the selection in NIT's so you can directly get the admission.

Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. It's difficult to predict exact rank for NIT Rourkela but as per previous year records its expected that go get top Branch you need rank around 4000 in Jee main.
