Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla has a Training and Placement Cell that offers training, internships and placements to the students. VSSUT Sambalpur Placement Process

The VSSUT Placement Cell has several members who collaborate and coordinate between the companies and the VSSUT Training and Placement Cell. Graduates have adequate opportunities for effective involvement in all work related to training and recruitment.

Stage 1: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Placement Cell, contacts multiple companies and business stakeholders with an invitation and university prospectus.

Stage 2: Companies approve offers and demonstrate an interest in the recruitment drive.

Stage 3: Students interested in applying for placements have to register with the VSSUT placement drive and provide the proper documents.

Stage 4: Industries which have shown the desire to participate in the VSSUT recruitment drive, visit the university before the actual hiring process for briefing.

Stage 5: Students have to appear for tests, including a written test and an HR round.

Stage 6: Talented candidates who get selected in the test have to face the interview round for the final assessment.

Stage 7: Finally shortlisted students are then sent the offer letter by the respective companies.

The placement record is up to the mark. Nearly all students of our branch get placed. Some of the students sit for on campus, while some focus for off campus and some others go for higher studies. The on campus placement is the best for the core branches, while CS/IT people have to put a bit more efforts.

For core branches, especially Electrical and Mechanical branches, they are really good at placements. Many companies come to our college. But for tech branches, it's like a mid - mid placements. We have to put an extra effort to get an on campus placement.

Yes, for getting admission in VSSUT (Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology), ojee mark and ojee rank matters. VSSUT accepts admission through JEE and OJEE exam results. If you have good rank and if you are eligible for the course you want to pursue then definitely you can take admission.

Hi sir .... I got 78 percentile in jeemain in obc catagory and I got 3lakh rank in common rank and catagory rank in 1 lakh so can I got any branch in VSSUT

Hope you are doing well

Having a Jee category rank upto 1 lakh, it may be difficult to secure core branches like Computer Science or Electronics in (VSSUT)

However, you might have a chance to get admission in less competitive branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering, especially under the OBC category.

Home state quota: If you are from Odisha, you may have a better chance due to the state quota system.

Special rounds of counseling: Sometimes, seats open up in later counseling rounds or in the CSAB special rounds, where you may have a better chance.
