Labs are good for CS, but core branches labs doesn't live up to the expectation. Theory classes are well equipped with wifi, ac, smartboard, etc. For sports, there are enough grounds for different sports. There is also a gym, but equipments are not that well maintained.
Just like every other engineering colleges, this college also focuses only on theoretical knowledge rather than practical.Same old curriculum and syllabus. You can easily pass your exams by mugging up just before the exam day.
Placements are good for tech branches but other than those, situation is not upto the mark. Student has to put really hard efforts to get a good placement. And don't expect u will land a good placement just by college studies, you have to put the efforts on your own even when you are in CS branch.
Campus is good lush green and big 150 acres but there is only one canteen and vehicles entry is also prohibited.
Talking about infrastructure, especially the smart classes and the apj hall are well maintained with smart boards but the block classrooms are just average as it doesn't have smart boards in it. Including library, gym, sports room, canteen, laboratory everything is pretty good. Although the campus is too big , as it takes a lot of time to go from one place to another.Wifi accessibility is free for each and every student. Their is staff available at every place inside the college for cleaning purpose, so it's neat and clean even inside the restrooms and the canteen.
Quality of teaching varies form proffessor to proffessor. Specifically talking there are few teachers that are way too good in teaching. I am studying electronics and communication engeenering from nsut, because I do have interest in this field. I really do think that this field is getting more and more developed currently. Through ece I can get job either in tech or core depending upon the skills that I have learned. But academic study is not sufficient enough to get me a job-ready.
From the past placement offers, I can say that the quality of placement is surely getting improved as many new offers are being availed to students from variety of companies. It's very difficult to get placed through campus, so up to 20% students get the opportunity. Average salary starts from 5lpa and goes up to 70lpa in ece department.
1 st year- 2,29,000 2 nd year-2, 40,000 3 rd year-2, 50,000 4 th year- 2,70,000 This is the complete cost for btech. it's definitely not worth it to spend that much money as they don't teach us the thing that we really do need for placement purpose.
One of the best feature of college campus is that they organise many types of fest(eg.moksha) , and worst feature is that majorly exams get preponed, and event get cancelled (eg. Resonance, freshers party)
Excellent infrastructure! Modern lassrooms, well-equipped labs, spacious library, and vibrant campus life. Impressive sports facilities and amenities. A perfect blend of academics and extracurricular activities.
Challenging yet rewarding! College academics offer a rich learning experience with expert faculty, diverse courses, and opportunities for growth, innovation, and networking. Really nice and good i love it
College placement was a game-changer! Gained industry connections, interview prep, and landed my dream job. Worthwhile experience! ....... .................... .... .... ...............................
College offers good value for money. Quality education, experienced faculty, and decent infrastructure. However, limitations in campus life, placement opportunities, and extracurricular activities. Overall, a solid choice for those prioritizing academics.
Vibrant campus life! Lively events, diverse clubs, and supportive peers make for an unforgettable experience. State-of-the-art facilities and beautiful grounds add to the charm. A perfect blend of academics and fun!
NSUT (main campus)offers a beautiful lush green campus with a wide variety of fauna. It would be great if facilities could be improved a little compared to the fees like one more canteen and a good auditorium. Rest academics wise and placement wise I hope it is good as I can't say much as I am in 1st year right now
It is good. Most proffesors are helpful and cooperative though it also depends on your behaviour. The courses follow new education policy. .............................................................
The stats show it is great and hoping to be even better ahead...........................................................................................................................................
The fees is little higher but it depends on the return you get which solely depends on your hard work though, the stats till now have been good..........................................................
It is nice would have been better with a good auditorium dance music rooms and one more student canteen
NSUT (main campus)offers a beautiful lush green campus with a wide variety of fauna. It would be great if the facilities could be improved a little like one more canteen and a good auditorium compared to the fees.Rest academics wise and placement wise I believe it is good as I can't say much as I'm in 1st year right now.
Auditoriums are quite outdated though there's wifi connections in entire campus. I'm a day scholar so don't know much about hostels but the college is pretty clean most of times . Sports ground has a racing track, basketball courts. Classrooms in connecting blocks are pretty nice and apj where freshers attend their lectures is good.
My specialization is electronics and communication engineering, 2nd year and our curriculum is much difficult as ece in nsut is considered the most tough Branch. Practicals are there workshops in which we are required to make projects .
In 2023, the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) achieved notable placement outcomes. Approximately 81.72% of ECE students secured job offers during the placement season. The average salary package for ECE graduates was around ₹15 lakh per annum (LPA), with the highest package reaching up to ₹45 LPA.
My total course cost would be around 9-10 lakhs for the complete btech degree. 1st year - 1,39,000 2nd year - 2,40,000 3rd year - 2,55,000 4th year - 2,70,000 I think the course cost is pretty high compared to other gov colleges providing the same facilities.
The best feature of campus life would be it's seminars and events taking place like moksha the biggest cultural fest of nsut . Also the societies are engaging students in various aspects and their own events taking place. A thing I would like to add is about faculty, it requires quite a work to have your way out for anything from them.
The college has a great infrastructure. It's beautiful campus is spread over 145 acres. The campus has administrative building, academics building, library, student activity centre, boys and girls hostels, sports ground and training and placement cell. Also, All of them are well-maintained.
I'm currently a 1st year student at the university pursuing B.Tech in Electronics with a specialization in VLSI. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field l. All the professors are well-experienced and the quality of teaching is also good.
A close interaction between the institute and various companies, has created excellent placement records. Almost all the students who graduated have secured jobs in MNCs, private and public sectors. A high percentage of eligible students have been offered jobs by reputed firms.
The tuition fee for a year is around 2.5 lakh and hostel fee is 56K per semester. It might sound that it is expensive but ROI is good especially if you maintain good grades and it would be very easy to get placements.
The college is located at Sector 3, Dwarka. The location of the campus is good and all the basic amenities are easily available. The students can have recreational activities in the campus. The campus itself is so beautiful, there is greenery everywhere.
Overall NSUT is a great college. It is a Tier 1 college and you can definitely add it to your list if you are looking for a good college to pursue B.Tech from. There are also annual fests which are organised at a grand level. Students have a lot of fun in the campus. Students get exposure when they come to a place like Delhi, they get to experience lot of things.
NSUT is an extremely good college, it's outstanding, in terms of infrastructure it's good, most if the classes are equipped with air conditioners with projectors and smart devices, running track, gym, sports complex, basketball ground, cricket ground is available, although more badminton courts could be there. Wi-Fi is available most of the time, labs are also good, campus is clean and hygienic always.
Faculties are good mostly, they come and teach, strictness for the attendance is there, but I guess it's for the benefit of the students. Faculties are mostly supportive and they all are qualified for the job they are doing.
Don't know much about placements but heard it's good. Skilled students from different branches often recieve high packages, average package is around 15 lakh most of the time, placements could be a little better for lower branches like biotechnology and mechanical but it is excellent for computer science and information technology related branches.
Fees is around ₹2,50,000 almost for a year.
Campus life is good.
It's a good college.
College infrastructure plays a pivotal role in fostering an environment conducive to learning, research, and personal development. It encompasses a range of facilities that support academic, administrative, and extracurricular activities. Academic facilities form the backbone of any institution. These include spacious and well-ventilated classrooms equipped with modern teaching aids like smart boards, projectors, and audio systems. Laboratories are crucial for hands-on learning, especially in science, engineering, and technology, and should be equipped with up-to-date instruments and tools. Libraries, as knowledge hubs, provide access to an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, along with comfortable reading spaces. Beyond academics, a well-designed campus includes administrative blocks to facilitate smooth operations and student services. Hostels, dining halls, and recreational spaces ensure a comfortable living environment for residential students. Sports facilities, auditoriums, and cultural spaces cater to extracurricular development. The inclusion of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) infrastructure, such as Wi-Fi-enabled campuses, computer labs, and online learning platforms, is increasingly important in modern education. A college with robust infrastructure not only enhances academic performance but also nurtures holistic growth, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and experiences needed
Academics is good but need improvement in some ways to do better. Some professor are not helpful. And they need to do better in these and library is only open till 6pm So timming should be increase
Placements is not so good. Overall Placements is better but in the core branch Placements need to improve and do much work on it . And also need to focus in internship . This will help in placemts of core branches
Overall college is good . Fees is high but according to average government engineering college . This is the normal fees of engineering so as comparing the facilities its can be said that value for me but need to improve in science me ways
Campus life is good . It has a nice infrastructure and surrounding area is also good . It has nearbuy metro, mall, stationary etc . There is two fest moksha and resonance. It is also nice for college life
The infrastructure of the college is really good.. the campus id quite big, and provides all the facilities, like- library, A.C. lecture halls with smart board, sports conplex, athletics ground, student's centre, student's activity centre, medical facilities, etc. And also there's lot of greenery here..
I would say that the the professors are also really nice, they try their best to explain you everything and amswer your doubts if you have any.. I'm currently in Mechanical branch, and they have included all those necessary subjects that are necessary nowadays with today's technology..
The placements in this college is also good considering today's time, when engineers are getting less jobs.. this college has helped in bringing good companies and providing us the opportunities, while the placement itself depends upon the skillset the student has..
I think the amount of money that we every year is a little high, but it is worth it.. they beautiful infrastructure, and all the resources, fests, etc. Is just amazing.. there's so much greenery here..
I think this is the best part here.. i love being in this college.. even though it has been less time, i have already enjoyed it a lot.. teachers are really good amd help us.. and also exploring the college with your friends is memorable.. the college is very close to the metro station (walking distance)..
NSUT has very good infrastructure. It has different different blocks for different departments. Big sports ground, cricket ground, table tennis court, indoor gym, outdoor and many other things. It also provides students with medical facilities.
The academic section is working really great over here in the college. Professors are really great over here. Library have most of the books that professors suggest us. There are some times where professors give us hard time but rest is fine.
NSUT is ranked among India's top engineering institutions. This university provides great placements opportunities to all the students. Big tech and non tech companies come here to hire students for different roles.
Hi there,
You have to tell about the rank and percentile that you have got in the jee examination instead of telling your marks. The colleges are allotted based on the ranks that you secure in your examination.
At this marks, it is difficult to get admission in any government college since there is a lot of competition and your rank will be probably in higher region. Thus it will be difficult to get admission.
However you can visit the official website of the colleges and the josaa and know about the previous year cutoff and thus get an idea about the college in which you can get a admission.
You can take help from our college predictor which is specifically designed to give you the list of colleges at the rank that you have achieved in the examination. the link is mentioned below:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
Hope this resolves your query.
Dear Aspirant,
If you fall under the cutoff mentioned by the university then you are absolutely eligible for cs engineering in NSIT or DTU. But as the CS engineering is highly demanded course by many applicants it gets difficult to grab a seat due to limited seats. You should definitely apply in both of these colleges as both the colleges are highly ranked and you have higher chances to get in as you fall under the cutoff mentioned.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!
See if you get an offer from NSIT, then you can just reject or ignore that offer and can just sit in the next round of counselling. You dont need to go for document verification if you are not interested to take a seat offered by the NSIT.
You can also predict your chances of admission in colleges through JOSAA counselling using our JEE College Predictor Tool. Kindly visit the link given below to predict colleges:
