Infrastructure is quite good. The labs are well maintained and enough machines are present. For the number of students studying it's enough.Though it can be improved but at the moment it's good enough. But some computers have some of their parts missing. That needs to be looked after
Academics is below average.Classes are not held property. The syllabus is quite backdated and not at all updated.Only bookish knowledge is provided.Skill based knowledge needs to be given more which are required when we join the companies.
Very average placement.Totally depends on your luck.Core branches have the worst placement percentage. The average salary is not so good. They should bring in more reputed companies and prepare us for placements.
No hostel. Wifi only for college staffs. Canteen is good but overpriced. A common room is there. Library is quite good has books from prominent authors but in limited quantity. Apart from the course books which they will provide you other books are quite limited.
I'm currently pursuing b.tech in computer science and engineering. The teaching is not that good. There are only a few teachers who are actually very good, others are not that good. The curriculum is updated.
Earlier placements were not that good but from previous year it has been good, and this year especially it is very good. Several companies have visited the campus for placements, including big companies like amazon, cognizant, microsoft, rockwell automation, cerner, thoughtworks, etc. Highest package 10lakh and average is around 4lpa.
Course cost was 81k per sem when I joined it has certainly increased now.
College is in sector 5 salt lake.
The college has a decent infrastructure. The classroom and most of the lab are air-conditioned. The library of the college is huge and has a good collection of books. The college shares its playground with another college. The college computer lab is wifi enabled.
I am studying Computer Science Engineering. The quality of teaching varies from best to bad, totally depends on the teacher and your interest as well. The course is updated combining every possible field of CSE.
Regarding the placement, if you gain average knowledge and will remain serious you will surely get placed. The best thing is that many companies come to recruit and the average salary offered is 3.5-4 LPA. The highest being 10 LPA offered by Byjus followed by Microsoft. Do not worry regarding the placement, regarding placement it gives you lots of opportunities to apply for but be serious at that time.
The college fees structure keeps changing. Kindly get it clear from their admission cell. They might also give some discount but you need to contact them for further enquiry.
Cultural fest, Sports fest, and Technical fest are being conducted. You can perform and participate in anything. The students now are better and the teacher is also supportive. The location of the college is good and a very good environment. Transport facilities are available near the college. No need to worry about that.
I had a decent experience and wish the best of luck to others. It will be both enjoying and learning experience in this college.
Being in the buzzing area of salt lake city, Techno India university shares the campus with Techno India salt lake. College does not have a hostel of its own. It has an orientation hall. Labs are in proper condition . It has centralized AC. They have one play ground. Overall it has one building where all the facilities are accommodated. So if you are looking at the college infrastructure wise , then you might be disappointed.
Course structure of different branches are good. Faculties are Okay. Some of them are highly qualified and helpful too. But a student has to develop the skill and learn most of the subject on their own . Being from the computer science background, i found that coding was not practiced and taught properly.
Techno brings loads of companies , so students get ample opportunity . But it is a pool placement , which makes the competition even tougher. It finally depends upon the caliber and interest of the students. Average placement is around 3-4 lakhs per annum.
Fee structure is very high as compared to the colleges under MAKAUT. Also they don't provide the proper break up of the fee structure which they should . So, it's gets quite expensive and return of investment is not encouraging.
Campus life would not disappoint you. College has various clubs and fests like Sahotsava for cultural fest, rudra for sports fest etc. A student will get opportunity to show case and enhance their skills and connect to different peer group.
The college has all the necessary amenities as well as facilities which the students prefer as comfortable. The class rooms have projectors for virtual classes as well as a perfect classroom space. The laboratories are well equipped for all the science students for good elaboration. The sport centre offer all kinds of activities. The libraries furnish all kind of books needed by students and the college hostels are also quite maintained with airy rooms and greenery all around.
I am studying B. Tech from ECE department and after that I want to go for research. The quality of teaching is very good and the faculty tries to broom each and every student according to latest technology and concepts of education. It does everything to prepare a student to sit in the job interview face the panel and emerge with flying colors.
Overall placement are good with highest being above 30 lac in CSE IT ECE and both offline and in campus and on an average being 8 lakh and nearly each and every student gets placed. Big companies like Microsoft Intel Amazon etc come for campus selection. Sometimes the placement process is easy sometimes tough all depends on the students potential.
Per semester fees is 79000 but for me though it is too high but the level of benefits the college gives is worth of it.. Amidst the lockdown too we are in touch with our studies because of the initiative of our college and it's members.
As far as my concern the college campus is too good with a space for students to have a gala time to a big ground for sports.there is no such worst feature of it. There are too many extra curricular activities for the students like dance, singing, creativity, any many more. Some students are too rude to interact nut the teachers and staff members are very supporting and they help each and every time. The location of the college is perfect in the heart of the city so it's can handle any emergency
It is a very good college with every benefit.
They don't have their own campus, share the campus with another college which is coincidentally owned by the same promoting group. Often in 2017 departments had to fight to secure a room for conducting classes. But, the classes were well equipped with ACs.
Some of the professors are knowledgeable, but for most of them are mostly college pass-outs teaching undergraduate students. Many professors lack proper communication skills. Also, the most of the faculty were guest faculty, because of which there was lesser interaction with students post the class hours.
Parents are shelled out huge money, with many of the students studying on education loans. This institute offers very pathetic placements to the Batch of 2017, especially to the Civil Engineering Batch.
Not at all value for money. Expense for 2013-17 batch was approximately 6.5 lakhs, whereas the same degree form any MAKAUT affiliated institute would have costed around 3.5 lakhs.
The ground is very small, and there are no basket ball court. The swimming pool is always non-operational and mostly a selfie zone. Also during our time, departments had to fight to get a room for class.
Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment . All the classrooms have central air-conditioning, wifi, state of the art tables and chairs and the facilities and amenities are well maintained.
I am studying Bachelor of Business Administration. I am studying BBA to be an educated businessman so that I have a different approach to all problems emerging in the world unlike the old-school businesses.
The quality of the placements are the best. Our students get recruited in the best companies in the field being Cognizant,IBM, PWD,TCS the main recruiters. 100% students get recruited every year. The highest salary package was 28 lacks p/a last year to a guy who was persuing MBA in marketing. The average salary offered is 15lacks p/a.
My course costed me around 1,10,000 per year. Yes I felt I was getting my money's worth because of the quality of the education and the resources and connections you make while studying there and also the internship you get.
The campus is of around 5 acres in sector 5 which is the heart of the business IT hub of Kolkata.
The entire college has centralised air-conditioning with Wi-fi facility.Classrooms and Laboratories are great.Hostels are also student friendly. The food quality of food served in the hostel and canteen is very good .Medical facilities and games facilities are also good.
I studying Computer Science and Engineering. I have chosen this course because I am interested in it . The Teachers of our college are helpful and one can ask questions at any time. Most of the teachers are IITian and they are well knowledgeable and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant.
About 60% of the students in our course have a chance to get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA and the average salary package is 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCS, Wipro etc.
infrastruture is not so good but you can say that it is an average,as far as my class room is concered there a projector and air conditioned is fitted.but the arrangements are good and maintain well living environment
as far academic is concered it is an average,i dont think that there is a development in curriculum, and the quality is not so good ,teachers are only teaching with the helps of their notes and no any extra points are provide.
placements are also an average i dont know the exact % but an average it is 50-60 for cse department and for aothers it may be down,it also depends upon the year bacause in some many company but for another year less comes
infrastructure is average neither to good nor to bad, in my classroom a projector with central AC is there and a good space is there so that teachers and student can have face to face interactions.Campus also contains a big swimming pool a playground.
Academics are not to good but an average, teachers are not so well regarding their subjects but some of teachers are very good at theory and practical mostly our HOD.last but not least i want to say that curriculum is not updated here
i am going student for placements but as far my knowledge placements is not so good but if u have knowledge then definitely you will get job, the average salary offered by the company for freshers is 3-12 lpa.
our fee is very high although it is a private college and fees is rs 79000 per semester
Not to good beacuse there is no hostel facilites by college
Hi,
Only academic wise, IEM is a slightly better option than Techno India University.
But here’s what you need to know about both the colleges -
IEM:
• The college is critical about time, you need to bw always on time for lectures and other events.
• The college has discipline, punctuality, and strictness when it comes to studies. There’s a strict dress-code in place.
• The scope and exposure during and after your btech degree is better than many colleges in West Bengal.
Techno India University is much more flexible in case of rules, and dress code. But, in my opinion Techno Main Saltlake is a much much better college than Techno India University in every aspect.
Techno India colleges arrange workshops, seminars, tech fests for hands on practise of the students.
Plus, CSE is anyday a better branch than CSE and business. So I’d suggest go for just CSE.

Dear aspirant,
First of all I would like to tell that techno india main campus, salt lake is different from techno india University. In salt lake campus the computer science branch cut off ranges from 4k -8k depending upon the specialisation branches you choose .
In techno india University there are many colleges and cut off ranges from 15k to 30k for the cse branch . However it is subjected to change as every there are new branches inserted and also depends upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
