Mallabhum Institute of Polytechnic, Bishnupur Admission Process
Mallabhum Institute of Polytechnic (MIP), Bishnupur, is an AICTE-affiliated government-approved institute that provides diploma courses in engineering fields. Application Process
The application procedure in Mallabhum Institute of Polytechnic is a multi-step process:

7. Documents verification: Shortlisted candidates will have to report at MIP for documents verification. Normally required documents would be:

- Mark sheet and certificate of 10th standard
- Domicile certificate (if needed)
- Category certificate (in the case of reserved classes)
- Passport size photographs
- Any other documents as required by the institute
8. Fee Payment: Once the verification of documents has been done, the candidates must pay the admission fees required to hold a seat.
9. Admission under Management Quota: For 25% of the seats under management quota, candidates might have to approach the institute directly for admission. The process for management quota admissions must be verified from MIP's admissions department.
Degree wise Admission Process
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: It has 120 seats and is admitted through the general admission process through JEXPO. Candidates with a sound background in physics and mathematics will be suitable for this course. Admission is done on the rank basis in JEXPO and follow-up counseling.
Diploma in Civil Engineering: This diploma course also takes 60 seats of students through the JEXPO exam. Students interested in construction and infrastructure should take this course. Admission is based on JEXPO ranking and counseling.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering: It has 120 seats and is JEXPO-based admission. Candidates having a fascination for electrical circuits and systems will be suitable for this course. Admission will be based on the performance of the candidate in JEXPO and then by counseling.
Diploma in Computer Science and Technology: With 60 seats, the course is meant for students who are seeking the course of information technology. The admissions are made through JEXPO, wherein the selections are made on examination rank and counseling procedure.

Academics
Almost good education. Teachers are good but students are not so much interested to do class. Students are mostly interested to do practical. All the practical teacher are very knowledgeable and helpful.
