Dear candidate, before ranking them according to placements let me share one thing after your B.E/B.Tech you can expect a starting Package of 3-5 LPA. So keeping that in mind,
1. NIT Jalandhar
2. Thapar
3. PEC Chandigarh
However if you gather profound knowledge you can expect starting Package of 8-10 LPA in these institutions and with increasing experience you will get more.
Good luck!!
No, you cannot. I think you should score at least below 1 lakh rank to get seat in NIT Jalandhar. But if you are willing to take admission in NIT's, i suggest you to repeat for jee exam. Otherwise, you have to go with admission in private college or private universities. Use this college predictor to know better - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

Hello aspirant ,
If you are interested in electronics then my opinion is that you should choose ece branch (ece nit Srinagar) Because nowadays the scope in ece is increasing.
Also Civil branch is a good one (civil nit Agartala) If you don't mind for living other city for 4 years.
These are just suggestions, if you are interested in the rest of your preferences, you can also consider it.
All the best for your Future !

Hi aspirant,
Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and given the status of National Institute of Technology (DeemedUniversity) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 .
The fee structure for the Btech course at the institution is around 84000 for first semester which includes 62500 as the tution fee, 5000 as caution deposit and 17000 as miscellaneous charges. From second year onwards only tution charges are need to be paid.
Also it is important to keep following points in mind:
Hope it helps!!
NIT Jalandhar has good infrastructure with well-developed labs and classrooms. There are three hostels for first-year students: BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are better than BH5 because the food and facilities are much better in BH1 and BH2, but BH1 and BH2 are four-seater, while BH5 is a two-seater.
Very good college . Personally I like the college because of everything which you need full fill in this college college infrastructure is so good library, Gym outdoor indoor all type of game available
The Infrastructure is good all the necessary facilities are there. Classrooms are digital, fully air conditioned as well. Hostels are also big enough for living. Mess is also good as compared to the other NIT's.
