    College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.

Can i get IISc Bangalore through JEE mains in 2025 ? is this criteria removed or not

    Hello there,

As of 2025, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore offers undergraduate admissions through the following entrance exams:

    • Bachelor of Science (Research): Admission is based on JEE Advanced and IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) scores.

    • Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mathematics and Computing: Admission requires a valid JEE Advanced rank.

Therefore, JEE Main scores are not considered for admission to IISc's undergraduate programs. To be eligible, you must appear for and secure a competitive rank in JEE Advanced or the IISER Aptitude Test.

For the most accurate and updated information, please refer to the official IISc admissions page.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Agar me JEE mains ka cutoff clear kar lu to jee mains ke through IISc Bangalore me addmission milega kya? Addmission ke baad counselling hota hai vo kaise matlb sare selected students eksath hote hai kya ? Kyoki muze interview se dar lagta hai? Agr kisiko pata hai to bata dena jee mains k baad interview hota hai kya ?

If you clear the JEE Main cutoff, you'll be eligible to apply for admission to various institutions, including the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. However, admission to IISc Bangalore is not solely based on JEE Main scores.

IISc Bangalore has its own admission process, which includes:

    1. *JEE Main/Advanced*: You need to qualify in JEE Main/Advanced to be eligible for admission.

    2. *JEE Advanced*: If you're applying for the Bachelor of Science (Research) program, you need to qualify in JEE Advanced.

    3. *KVPY*: If you're applying for the Bachelor of Science (Research) program, you can also qualify through the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exam.

    4. *NEET*: If you're applying for the Bachelor of Science (Research) program in biological sciences, you need to qualify in NEET.

After qualifying in one of these exams, you'll need to apply for admission to IISc Bangalore through their online portal.

Regarding counseling, IISc Bangalore doesn't conduct a traditional counseling process. Instead, they use a merit-based admission process, where selected students are offered admission based on their performance in the qualifying exam.

There's no interview process for admission to IISc Bangalore's undergraduate programs. Your admission will be based solely on your performance in the qualifying exam.

So, you don't need to worry about an interview!
