Hi aspirant,
Indian Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram is the college whose graduates can get direct recruitment in Indian space research organisation (ISRO). Although they have to fulfill certain eligibility/conditions also. It was established in the year 2007 by Dr. G. Madhavan Nair. The college is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute lies over an area of 100 acres.
The mode of admission in IIST is a two step process. One needs to write JEE Main and then after qualifying JEE Main they need to appear in JEE Advanced. The rank in JEE Advanced should be high and not low.
For more information on IIST you can check the link below:
All the best.

Hello Aspirant,
For this year it does not matter how much you have scored in your 10+2 because according to the latest notification in the wake of COVID-19, from ministry of education, now criteria of 12th percentage has been removed.
Now you have to score good marks only in JEE-Advance to get good colleges. If you want to get into IIST then also you have to crack JEE-Advance with good score.
For more details refer to the link given below :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, of course you can apply. See JEE-Advance has two consecutive attempts so if you are passing out from your 10+2 in 2020, then you are eligible to give JEE-Advanced at most upto 2022 and after that you will not be eligible. So if you want IIST then you can appear in JEE-Advance 2020 and your 12th result of 2020 will be considered.
